Blanka and Blanko has put their heart in their holiday home at Veli Iz - an oasis of quiet and serene stay., Grape and bourgenvila roof with BBQ and lounging charis and large table on the patio, beautiful small garden and themed decorations in Blue. YOu have the whole ground-floor with 3 bed-rooms and a fully functioning kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. The ground-floor was good as it stayed cool during hot July days. Blanka received us as soon as we stepped out of the Ferry and walked to the house for 3 minutes and they showed us their lovely Blue Habour heart. The house was stacked with everything that you'd possibly need on the island - first aid, medications, toileteries and a kitchen full of goodies - when we opened the fridge - there was a bottle of wine, few beers and a whole charcuterie waiting for us, with fresh bread on the table, and a goodie bag of local olive oil, local liquer and a fridge magnet. We were so amazed that the hosts set up all this for us, and never in our years of travel have we experienced such high hospitality and kindness. They also gave us a list of restaurants to dine out but the house was so lovely that we just loved cooking at home as it gave that homely feeling on the island. There are so many beautiful beaches and swim-areas that you dont want to go too far out. We were looking for a calm haven away from the tourist crowds to bond with our kids and soak up the sun and the adriatic sea - and this stay was just perfect for that. We met many people in our travels, but Blanka and Blanko (Olympic Gold Medalist for Yuguslavia Basket ball) will remain long in our memory for the kindness they shared with us. You don't want to miss this gem if you are looking for an exceptional stay at Iz Island. How often do you get welcomed by a Olympic Gold Medalist?
I didn't like the fact that we only stayed for 4 nights. You can easily spend a month here.

We spent a wonderful time in this house. Blanka and Branko are incredible hosts, we were greeted with sincere warmth and welcome.❤️ The house is surrounded by flowers and greenery, hidden from view from the street. The kitchen is fully equipped, if you are willing to prepare lunch. Everything you need, the beach and the shop is close at hand. I sincerely recommend this piece of paradise to everyone.

Actually, I should not write this review. Because this accommodation should remain an insider tip. It is the most beautiful, aesthetic, tasteful, cosy, quiet flat with an enchanting garden that I have ever rented on Veli Iz. It is located directly from the bathing spot and a very good restaurant.
The landlady Blanka personally met us at the harbour and took us to the flat and lovingly explained all the details. The Mediterranean style of furnishing is so inviting.
Blanka has really thought of everything. Extra blankets, towels, emergency rations in the fridge, homemade olive oil and and and.
On the last day, she did not miss the opportunity to personally hand over the keys again. So beautiful!
Still blown away by this wonderful holiday. Thank you very much for this wonderful encounter and hospitality.

Very spacious apartment, 3 great size bedrooms. Equipped with toster, various size pots and pans, even cake and vegetables blender... electric kettle. Olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, paper towel, sink sponges, dish detergent, toilet paper, shampoo, soap,... grill woods, lots of fresh bedding and towels, musquito repellent, everything was prepared for us... Very good value for money.
Did I mention fresh welcome pancakes? 🥰
Beach in 100m. Very peacefull village, two grocery shops, several restorants. All you need for vacation with little kids
