A hidden gem in the Italian Alps

Our stay at the Baita Eleonora was absolutely excellent. The alpine landscape is incredibly peaceful — a true escape into nature. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food was simply outstanding. Don’t miss the chance to try the local artisanal honeys — they’re delicious! Nadia, our host, was exceptional: warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

A wonderful family stay in a tranquil mountain side setting, with unforgettable hospitality.

We loved the peaceful location above Argegno, perfectly balanced between the charm of the lake and the beauty of the mountains. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, everything was comfortable, and the view on the hills was amazing. The quality of the dinners in the evening was exceptional and made our stay truly special.

There was nothing we disliked. The only challenge is that being up in the hills required a car (or very good legs) - 10 min by car to Argegno, or 45min walking - but that is also what made the place so quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed very much our stay. The landscape is beautiful, hotes are charming and the cabans are very clean and quiet. We had a very good dinner.

The only bemol I would give is on the breakfast which is a bit light.

Amazing place!!!

wonderful place in a perfect location on Lake Como, literally 6 minutes drive to the lake shore and 25 minutes to the biggest attractions, and at the same time the place is quiet and has the feeling of being in a high mountain shelter. The hosts are wonderful and the food you can order for dinner is the best I have eaten in Italy. Pool, children's playground, amazing view

The location was absolutely stunning and Nadia picked us up from the ferry which was incredible! She and Claudio run an absolutely fabulous place!

Fantastic place to stay

We loved our stay here, we stayed in the pod which was great, spotlessly clean. We had our own bathroom which was 20 yards away with our own key . Claudio Nadia and addelle were so helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them. We had dinner 2 nights with them, great value and the food was fantastic, Claudio is very knowledgeable about wine too . It’s very peaceful there, lovely eating breakfast outside our pod . Hopefully we will be back 🙏

Very good

The host is very nice and reactive. She answers really quickly. The parking area is easy to find and she will give you all information needed. Although the road to the house is a little bit steep, it is not very long and she will propose her help. You can enjoy the garden which is quite big.

Maybe the breakfast could be a bit upgraded but it was enjoyable.

A place to meet very warm Italian family

Nadia and her family made our experience exceptional, we tasted the authentic Italian hospitality. Although the weather wasn’t the best, it didn’t affect our experience. a perfect country farm getaway

it is a bit of hassle to get in and out of the farm, other than this nothing.

A beautiful farmhouse in the middle of nature. Very zen. We will return!

The farmhouse is romantic, in a very green, sunny and quiet area (we even saw deer down the path). Breakfast in your own room. The hosts are very, very nice and kind and do everything to make your stay great. You cannot reach the house by car (last 200 meters by foot) but they picked up our luggage and made us a marvelous dinner, served in a special dining room. We were staying with two adults, four teenagers and a dog. Thank you very much Nadia, Claudio and nonna, you made us feel very welcome!

We wish we could have stayed longer

The baita is beautifully located and decorated with taste. As a couple, we were very happy about the place and regretted not staying longer to fully relax and enjoy good air and nature. The owners/staff were very friendly and great hosts. The road to the baita is very/too narrow for cars, but awesome for motorbikes.

A must see

This is an awesome looking location at lake Como. The owners will do everything to make you feel welcome and to accommodate your wishes. In real this location even looks better than on the pictures shown on the website. On our request, they prepared 2 nights an Italian dinner for us which was very good! I would recommend this to all travellers with or without kids. The car needs to be parked quite far from the accommodation, this is no problem as the owners will help getting the luggage from the car to the appartment. The mother of the owners (Nonna) welcomed us in a typical italian way - we would definitely come back here!

Juste incroyable ! Les hôtes tellement gentils, une parenthèse enchantée dans les vacances. Si vous pouvez mangez sur place le soir, tout est fait maison, c’est délicieux puis le cadre est juste à couper le souffle !!! On est tomber sur le logement à 16h pour le soir même et on regrette tellement pas, on repart des étoiles dans les yeux.

Super fijne rustige plek vlakbij het como meer

Hele lieve eigenaren, warm ontvangst en staan altijd voor je klaar. Heel mooi rustig plekje, maar toch vlakbij het levende como meer. Alle huisjes en voorzieningen zijn helemaal nieuw. Lekker gegeten met producten uit eigen tuin.

Je kan een 'grotere' auto niet dichtbij parkeren, maar gelukkig helpen de eigenaren door je heen-en-weer te brengen met de bagage etc.

un posto incantevole. nel bosco, la pace, la sensazione di essere lontano dal caos della quotidianità. Per i bambini un sogno che diventa realtà. Nadia e la sua famiglia sono i vicini che vorresti avere, accoglienti, dolci e attenti, coinvolgenti senza essere invadenti. Cibo ottimo !

Weekend di tranquillità

Agriturismo in mezzo alla natura, luogo di pace e tranquillità. La camera per 4 persone dalle giuste dimensioni e pulita, mobilio un pò datato, ma sicuramente adatto al contesto rustico. Cena in loco magnifica: Claudio un bravissimo cuoco, oltre che persona deliziosa. Host disponibili nel dare indicazioni precise per raggiungere il luogo, e nel modificare il menu per una persona vegetariana.

solo dei consigli : Se fosse servita una colazione con prodotti fatti in casa , sarebbe il top! Area piscina migliorabile con più sdraio , invece che sedie da spiaggia, e qualche ombrellone.

Un petit paradis

Le cadre enchanteur, en pleine nature au milieu d'un vallon à seulement quelques km du lac de Côme, l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes, la communication de Nadia, la cuisine de Claudio, et les produits locaux. Un séjour au calme, nous avons grandement apprécié la simplicité et le confort. Les chambres sont petites mais fonctionnelles, les équipements suffisants (machine à café, bouilloire, grille pain, frigo) et le petit déjeuner sont appréciables.

Peut être un tout petit bémol par rapport à la douche partagée, l'installation d'une porte pourrait être appréciable.

È impossibile passare in zona Lago di Como senza fare tappa in questa splendida baita. L’accoglienza squisita dei proprietari e la location spettacolare immersa nella natura ci hanno decisamente convinto a tornare appena potremo! Non si può andar via insoddisfatti, e a bocca asciutta (grazie ancora per averci deliziato con una fantastica cena al nostro arrivo)!
