Banyula Annex

Beautiful , peaceful, and absolutely lovely modern country style cottage, with comfy beds , very clean and well equipped place in a beautiful private property . Just 10 minutes drive to Bowral city centre. Owners are very welcoming and nice people. Highly recommend!

My problem is the management group of this property! sending tens of texts and emails and repeating the same subjects. Asking for registration before arrival and requesting photos of my credit card and ID , remind you that the whole payment was made at the time of booking, and the management's mother company is in the US. I didn't feel comfortable sending all my information in the email to a foreign country and to people whom I don't know! Considering all the frauds and scams happening nowadays. Informed the owner of the property Andrew, he was thankful and said he would follow through.

Peace and quiet. Lovely gardens. Friendliness of hosts . Nothing was a trouble. Hosts treated me like an old friend

I couldn't stay longer

Location very good, close to town. Very nice grounds. Good bathroom. The Booking.com process was very quick and easy, as usual. But see below.

The other entity’s involvement in the booking process (Holiday Rental Specialists) was a disgrace. I found out much later that this company was the agent for the owner. Such was the deluge of emails and sms’s from them that I thought it was a scam. The booking.com email stated that the accommodation was “confirmed”. Then I received constant messages, emails etc from Holiday Rental Specialists stating that I was “not registered”, and that I could NOT utilise the accommodation, until I sent them a copy of my drivers license or passport, and other personal details. Needless to say, I would not under any circumstances send such confidential documents to a company which I was in fact not dealing with, and which I suspected was a hoax/scam. Clearly I was extremely disappointed with this time-wasting and contradictory process. A terrible way to start what should be a pleasant experience. Never again.

Nicely furnished and quiet

The lack of wifi was not acceptable. In addition the mobile coverage is poor so couldn’t even rely on that. I was at the property for a long stay and was hoping to get my work done - the lack of wifi made that virtually impossible. Very frustrating
