Be drunk to sleep there.

Location and staff were nice. Helpful when my flight was delayed with a late check in. Breakfast at the Seven restaurant was mint. Cheap.

I did read that Charlie’s Bar was underneath but wow that places bangs until 0215 but what I don’t understand is they do advertise that but they don’t tell you at 0730 they restock the Bars. So after 5hrs sleep you’ve gotta be out by 10 so good luck getting back sleep. Not that clean, toilets pretty minging, directions send you the wrong way.

False advertisement

I appreciated the info shared by hostel about ferries, local events, the hostel is 10-15 min away from bus station, port and is located inside of the old Town

I booked bed in room of 2, female dorm, but was given bunk bed in room of 3. I didn't have time to change it or inform reception because of the tight schedule during the day time. I wil attach pictures of that below, first what I booked and second is what I got but it was way dirtier with other roomates'stuff.Bed had shaking stairs to climb, shower is only wall mounted they don't have handheld with hose. The room was also dirty except linens. The price should have been the same as for mixed dorm. Small shelfs without lockers, lockers had to be bought outside from the store.

simple furnishings, A/C, excellent location, nice staff when they can be found

extremely loud, as it is located above a bar. I had a bed on the top floor so that wasn't too terrible but still loud nonetheless. the showers were barely considered clean, no kitchen or shared spaces, all bedrooms. tiny lockers, the staff are very hard to catch, quite a few hidden fees

Great location spoilt by lack of facilities.

No kitchen No microwave Charge €4 to store luggage when it's only €2 at the train station lockers Receptionist appeared not sure of her role / responsibilities . However did explain that they were short staffed and she was new. Therefore think she hasn't been trained properly.

Great week in great location

Superb location in the middle of Split. Staff really friendly and helpful. Right underneath Charlie's Bar which is a great base for the week.

Beds rather uncomfortable, and bottom bunks very low, however the staff had admitted this before so knew what I was getting into

- Friendly staff. - enough shower rooms and toilets. - Excellent party options in the bar and the after free clubbing - Very delicious breakfast (I took Greek yoghurt with cereals and chia seeds etc), although a bit small for my hunger.

The sockets for phone charging could be set more conveniently.

Great hostel experience

This is one of our favourite hostels we have experienced on our backpacking trip! As soon as we checked in we felt like family and was welcomed by all staff and guests we stayed with in the dorms. We absolutely loved the drinking games on the terrace each night which was really unique and allowed everyone to get to know each other. We met some incredible people here. Huge thanks to Mike and Issy! You both are absolute legends and really showed how a true warm and friendly hostel should be run. Can't wait to see you both at our grand opening of 'Drinkin in the Kitchen' and our wedding! Love you guys!

Passable

ONLY STAY HERE IF YOUR OKAY WITH NOT SLEEPING UNTIL 2AM. Ideal for those who want to party. Theres basically a connected bar, though its across the street, but it is extremely loud. They mention it after booking but they don't before. Room was pretty small but the bed was comfortable. I was able to check in early and leave my stuff in my room before checking in which was great. Towels are extra, no hair dryer, definitely not the nicest hostel but for the price its okay.

Ideal way to start your holiday in Croatia, right int heart of Split

Location could not have been better. Perfectly situated above Charlie’s bar making it easy to come and go.

The shower space was limited, and bathrooms were not always clean. Also the stairs leading to the rooms were incredibly steep and they were difficult to walk down after a few drinks.

Great hostel, really does does put the fiesta in siesta, would recommend to a friend :)

Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, good price, great shower, gave us a sheet on recommendations to see the city and basic Croatian, beds were comfortable and had great roommates :)

No kitchen or common area except for the microwave, kettle and mini fridge on the stairs and the bar downstairs which was always pretty crowded and fun. No rails on the bunks and bathrooms were not the cleanest.

Good to meet people but wouldn’t stay again.

Great party hostel above Charlie’s bar, in the middle of everything and we met lots of great people!

Shower was freezing cold. No towels provided in the room. 1 Bathroom and 1 shower between around 6 people. which is a little difficult when getting ready to go out. We had to pay a deposit which they refused to give us back as we were a little late checking out (10am is super early for a party hostel) and the staff were abit rude although the cleaner was still working on rooms upstairs..

Good if you’re planning on doing lots of late night partying, or have earplugs and an eye mask. Less good for general to

it was cheap and very centrally located. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the staff were friendly. Despite it being in the middle of a heatwave, the air con kept the room at a comfortable temperature all night.

After booking, I received a message telling me that the hostel was located immediately above one of the busiest bars in Split and I should not expect to sleep before 2am. This was no exaggeration - it was a VERY busy, VERY noisy bar. However… thanks. to earplugs and an eye mask (and a comfortable bed) I actually got a good night’s sleep. But - it really should have been made clear before booking. There is also a relatively early checkout (10am). But - it is close to the train and bus stations, very centrally located, and the staff were friendly.

Great location but thats abput it

You're definitely paying for the location as its in the middle of split and a 5 min walk to the marina and 10 to the bus/ferries. Room had air con thank god and bed was alright.

We drank in the bar on our first night and had a good time. Drinks were expensive and the minimum card payment was 200 kuna (bit ridic) The bathrooms and particularly the showers were rank and not cleaned over the 3 days we were there. I know its a cheap cheerful party hostel but i still want to shower in a clean place! Also the water was cold all the time which for a quick cool down is great but not for a gal wanting to wash hair. Also the process of getting your key back was ridiculous! I waited around outside the "office" for two hours on my last night cos no one was at reception and none of the "crew" or bar staff knew anything about it. Eventually got onto someone and then i couldn't get the deposit back cos we would of had to have left our lockers and room open all night. And after our friends next door got money stolen from their rooms we didnt feel safe to do that!

TLDR; lockers don’t work, nothing from the hostel following our robbery.

The hostel itself was fine but our experience there was unfortunately very, very bad because my friend and I were robbed on the first day of our stay. The first key the volunteers gave us to our locker at check in was defunct. They then gave us a new locker/ key where we locked our valuables. The next day when we returned to the hostel we came back to an open locker. All of our cash was stolen from inside the locker- someone had managed to pick the lock (which had been securely locked upon leaving). We had even originally asked at check in if we could give them our valuables for storage and they told us to keep it in the lockers as they are totally safe. The volunteers seemed to take the robbery seriously at first but we were very disappointed by the lack of follow up and action from the hostel given our valuables were locked in the locker that they provided us and assured us would be safe. We each lost significant amounts of cash and no word from Fiesta Siesta. TLDR; lockers don’t work, nothing from the hostel following our robbery.
