About this cabin rental
Brand new modern Chalet set in an 1 acre lot with striking views of the hunch-back mountains. Custom built with high-rise ceilings and windows all around, our home will be a lovely personal experience to all our guests. It has a great backyard with hot-tub, patio, deck and firepit. Hot-tub seats 5 people and has a lounger. Kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and stocked with essentials. This listing is for the left-side unit of the Chalet built as a duplex.
1. Please no shoes inside the house. We track a lot of mud because the chalet is in a 1 acre lot
2. Please don`t throw any dirt, food or liquids in the hottub.
3. Please don`t use soap or shampoo while in the hottub
4. Guests should do the dishes. The cleaning fee that my housekeeper charges is very high for cleaning dishes

We enjoyed our stay at the duplex! Check-in was easy and the location is great. We drove up to ski bowl night one for cosmic tubing. Day two we enjoyed the open kitchen a made a nice breakfast and were on the trail shortly after. The loft bedroom is EXCELLENT.
Our hosts were communicative and friendly. No complaints.

Loved everything about this place except for the fact that it is on well water with very high rust content. Water is totally unsuitable for drinking and even difficult to shower in and wash hands in due to heavy, oppressive rust vapors. Fortunately the hot tub was perfect and they’ve somehow managed to somehow remove the rust from it. The design and space / layout of the duplex (both sides) are perfect. The host is very gracious and responsive - a real pleasure to work with. I’m sure he looks forward to the day when municipal water arrives at his property! One other downside was that the cleaning people use that super stinky febReeze type cleaners - the sheets and towels reeked of it. But the host was very understanding about that and receptive to cleaning product suggestions. I would stay there again only if the rust water were remedied. My spouse and teenager were less bothered by the rust than I was so it’s likely that others would conclude that the rust was not a deal-breaker. But anyone who’s sensitive to chemicals and heavy minerals should book elsewhere
