I like the owners and its location is close to town

Showers and bathroom /bathroom floor need better cleaning

The guesthouse was located in a beautiful rural area with abundant nature. The views of the island from the windows were lovely, as the guesthouse was up in the hills. The staff were extremely warm and friendly; they really treat you as if you’re part of the household. The prices are very good value compared to other places around Kailua-Kona. The guesthouse has a nice, traditional and intimate atmosphere.

The property is beautiful and a very nice home. The family was so lovely too sadly I only stayed one night but next time I’ll definitely stay longer.

Nice view. Quiet location. Private.

The bath and shower weren't very clean. Found roaches every day. When we showed up, our room was still dirty from the last people, hadn't been cleaned or made up, so the person quickly did it, which gave us pause as to how thoroughly they cleaned the room. Towels weren't provided, like at our other hostel near Hilo. And a pair of our shoes got thrown away outside into a box. We had to go hunting for them. (you have to take your shoes off to go inside). This place has so much potential, but it needs a little maintenance. I guess you get what you pay for, but, as I said, our next hostel was worlds better (Pahoa Village Hostel), so no reason this place can't improve.
