The location was central and the building felt safe. The host was very friendly and gave us a good insight into the neighbourhood. The apartment was a good size for 2 people and stylishly decorated.
I noticed that a few previous reviews mentioned the noise from the street. When I checked with the host, before booking, he explained that the new windows are soundproofed and the police clear the noisy people from the Plaza del Chorro at 11.30pm. Unfortunately, we found the flat to be REALLY noisy from early evening until 1 or 2am. Even with earplugs, and noisy in every room. Colombia has a lively "exuberant" love of music at all hours. Be prepared!
