The surrounding area is lovely and close to picturesque villages.
Didn't come up to our expectations, certainly not 5* rating. Comments made by previous guests have not been addressed, eg: stained kitchen carpet, slow draining away of bath water. Quality of pillows, bedding, towels, cushions all thin.Not enough crockery, chipped bowls, few odd glasses.Bedroom curtains are hanging off the rails and hooks.
Safety wise there is no light switch for stairs from upstairs and no bath grab rail for getting in and out of shower. The cottage is lovely and spacious for two adults.
Info book said there was a comment book but we didn't find one. No welcome on arrival and only saw owner for five minutes on our third day.
The really loud road noise from very early morning hours meant sleeping difficult due to close proximity of the cottage to the road.
