Villa Signor

It was a great location, quiet, comfortable, clean

There was a strong cat urine smell the minute you walk in the door. I’m sure that it wasn’t coming from the villa I was in but definitely from the one next door. After doing a walk through it was definitely stronger in the downstairs bathroom, we kept the door closed with the light and fan on it helped some! Not giving you a bad review because I do believe it is not you fault but definitely something you might want to address with your neighbor!!!

We had a great stay at Villa Signor in Norwich, Connecticut. The villas were comfortable, clean, and perfect for our group. The location made it easy to get to Mystic for shopping and lunch, and we were close to everything we needed for groceries, drinks, and golf. It was a wonderful place to stay during our trip.

The property is well kept, and welcoming.

The hosts were polite, kind and the room decor was lovely. Hosts offered to bring in a cleaning crew the following morning after we reported the allergic reaction that was triggered. We couldn’t wait overnight we had to clean up the residence ourselves. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances but not even a bottle of water was offered.

Dust accumulation in rental unit 311 triggered a severe allergic reaction that required medication to mitigate. There’s an unrelenting smell on entry in unit 114. Best way to describe it is a horses stable smell. Unit 114 advertised a garden view. There isn’t a garden view, it’s more like overgrown bushes from adjacent property. There was a minimalistic approach to hospitality that for the price we paid seemed disjointed. The packages of candy for sale in the room were covered in dust. Not enough coffee/creamer…just as basic as one could get …even had what looked like home packed snack kits they were charging for.
