    Great location within walking distance of most amenities. Ample parking for cars and motorcycles in the basement of the hotel.. Staff were all very helpful and the room was very clean with a comfy bed. Decent value for money.

    If I could give negative zero, I would. You can’t even borrow a bowl, spoons, etc when they’re available in their cafeteria downstairs. You can’t even use their tables and chairs after closing hours but they are not really close, they don’t even have a door to close it, it’s an open layout from the reception. The room attendant won’t lend us pillows without a fee when it’s really free. They are loud while cleaning the rooms/hallways, there was this attendant who entered our kids’ room without knocking. It’s a good thing Chiang Mai is so beautiful that this Smith Residence didn’t ruin our trip. Almost.
