Wadi shab guest house

This beachfront property is truly beautiful. We were lucky enough to see turtles swimming right in front of the beach, which made our stay even more special. At night, the bioluminescence was amazing to witness, and we enjoyed having a barbecue by the shore. Mahiz was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He even allowed us to use their kitchen to cook our own meals, which we greatly appreciated. The room was spotless, clean, and comfortable. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Habib and Manish were great and went out of their way to help us and give us tips. Habib speaks exceptional English and we had a wonderful d&m with him about tourists at Wadi Shab. Our room was a king bed room overlooking the beach, everything was clean and well kept and the small swimming pool was very refreshing. Breakfast was great too! We loved our time there and especially enjoyed Wadi Tiwi with a local guide Ali, who was excellent.

This part of the review is not about Wadi Shab Guest House, but about the natural wonder of Wadi Shab. We were there during the Eid Al Adha celebrations and Wadi Shab was extremely busy. We noticed lots of disrespectful behaviours from foreign visitors. The amount of rubbish was heartbreaking, both at Wadi Shab itself and at the beach in front of the guest house where many people would gather. We spoke with several locals about the rubbish issue and they told us the worst culprits are people from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Not a racist statement in any way and if you’re reading this review and are from one of these countries, just don’t be the person who throws your rubbish on the ground. If you pack it in - do the right thing and pack it out! Take only memories and leave only footprints, and protect this incredibly beautiful natural wonder that people from around the world, now and into the future, are blessed to visit and enjoy. No one wants to see other people’s rubbish in such a beautiful and amazing natural place, so treasure it, protect it, and keep it sacred.

Very close to wading shab hiking trail and beach

Great large corner room overlooking the beach. Plus balcony. Breakfast was fine. We enjoyed a night time beach walk and saw the effervescence in the water. Friendly staff.
