Almost perfect

It was a beautiful and peaceful place with the location being at the north end of town away from all the busyness. The staff was exceptional; we felt welcomed and genuinely taken care of. Great free breakfasts off the menu. During the day, we could take a bike or rent a golf cart and explore the town. The people of Hopkins are lovely. We felt safe here, night or day. Loved going into town for the local food. Pool area. Never too crowded. Pool toys, games (corn hole, ladder ball, smash ball) between the pool and the beach, trampoline, kids pool, swim up bar, and hot tub. Beach. Super clean. Shady area with hammocks. Walking along the beach or out on the pier.

It was difficult to get into town unless you rented a golf cart, which we did. We would have liked to go into town more at night, but driving a golf cart at night didn’t seem like a good idea. They have free bikes to use, but the bikes are not the easiest to ride, they do the trick in a pinch but you just can’t ride for a very long time, and riding at night again would be a bit dicey. I would have liked to have been able to get into town more easily. Ember‘s restaurant - although we had great breakfasts, the first (and only) dinner we had there was really not good at all and although the descriptions were beautiful and the service was excellent, we didn’t finish our meals. The fish was bland, the mussels had crunchy bits, and my seafood mix was overcooked. The extra fee attached to food and drinks. I understand that the gst is necessary and we like to tip our servers, but this extra fee makes a reasonably priced meal, or even a cocktail at the pool quite pricey. I understand that this fee is distributed to all of the staff, but it feels like the guests are subsidizing staff wages. That was a big turn off from a very positive experience otherwise.

Melt away and relax in paradise.

I liked everything. Staff is INCREDIBLE! Grounds are gorgeous and relaxing. Restaurant was perfect! Accommodations were luxurious. Location is close enough to restaurants. Beaches were clean. People were extremely welcoming.

Only 2 things, swimming pool was not heated or warm, and rooms do not have bathrobes provided.

Beautiful, exactly as the pictures, modern and well maintained. Lots to do.

Sand flies/no-see-ums were brutal. This isn’t a resort thing as they are all over Hopkins especially with the out of season rains we had this year but despite putting on more Deet than sunblock we all had hundreds of bites

Beautiful accommodation with great view of the sea and gardens. Very friendly, helpful, staff. Off season, so, exceptionally quiet. Amazingly well equiped kitchen in pristine condition.

Would have liked tea bags in the kitchen. Also, no breakfast off season, but available in the next door resort. (We discovered this too late, so a heads up on check in would have helped. They do have breakfast in the busy season. )

Beautiful Beach, and stunning views! Well worth the Price!

The resort is stunningly beautiful and had everything we needed! The place is kept immaculate, from the condos to the beachfront. We travelled from the airport in a rental car to Hopkins and found the resort easy to find. On arrival we were told that the two bedroom villa we had originally booked had sprung a leak in the wall and so they were needing to move us. I was quite disappointed at first as the villa was slightly closer to the beach and pool, however they put us in two separate one bedroom villas that appeared brand new and had the most amazing views! We were sad not to share the villa but happy to have our own privacy too. They also discounted our reservation to make up for it, which was very kind of them. We only stayed for two nights but really wished we had booked for longer. The restaurant on the resort called Embers was amazing! The best beach views of the night, and really good food except portions could of been a little bigger. We found all the staff members on site were so accommodating and so kind.

There was nothing I did not like except for the the 1hr and 45 min to drive to the resort from the airport, then we would def be back more often.

The property is conveniently located near town and away from the “hotel zone”. It is quiet and meticulously kept. We rented the hotel golf carts and used the bikes provided to get into town and enjoy the local restaurants.

Ideal Beach Vacation

Very comfortable apartment and loved that it was on the beach. Beautiful views and very quiet. We had a 2BR unit that had a well stocked kitchen. The management was quite gracious and provided great dining and shopping suggestions. They also arranged for a masseuse to come to our unit. My husband said it was about the best massage he’s ever had.

Loved our stay here - the staff working at the resort were exceptional - very, very friendly and helpful. We were traveling over the holidays and they went out of their way to make it special. We stayed at two different units throughout our visit and both were beautiful, as was the setting of the resort itself.

It'll be really nice when there's a restaurant on site. Pool bar was great but a restaurant would be a bonus. Next door not a bad walk, but it's next door...

Beyond Amazing New Years Vacation in Belize

Seiri Del Mar was a truly phenomenal property. The view, the pool, the beach, the hot tub, the swim up bar -- all amazing!! We could have kayaked, but opted for the stand up paddle boards, which were all free. There were bikes on property to use - for any age, including some with training wheels. The golf cart was very helpful for running into the middle of town for groceries and some meals out. The 2 bd 2.5 ba villa was so spacious. Much bigger than I expected. Kitchen was stocked with essentials for cooking. The beds were comfy, lots of linens. Washer and dryer was unexpected plus. From a staff / management perspective - Bryon (manager), JoAnne (front office manager), Emily, Kyle, the cleaning ladies, the pool cleaners, the guys who swept the beach, the security -- they were all amazing. Very safe, very private. So clean and highly recommend this property. I could write so many more wonderful things. This property is a bit farther from some traveled areas, but I loved that about it. Highly recommend this property and I will visit again soon.

Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about about Seiri del Mar. The only thing they don't have is an on-site restaurant, but you can walk 2 minutes on the beach to the Rhum Shack at the next property. Or grab a golf cart or bike and head into town for a local meal.
