The cleanliness and smell when we arrived in the apartment was outstanding. The apartment is spacious, quite new. The balcony is spacious as well and has a good view on the large pool. The communication with the rental agency went smooth.
Picking up the keys at a rental agency in a neighboring village added some travel time, but it ultimately wasn’t too much hassle. Most apartments in the complex are second homes of native Italians who know each other well and form a tight-knit community. During our first few days, we felt a bit uncomfortable when some residents lectured us on the unwritten complex rules. However, most inhabitants turned out to be very friendly. The immediate neighbor though caused a noise nuisance by playing their TV loudly until midnight.
