About this cottage rental
The Morey cabin is really nice newly renovated and updated 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin on Catfish Lake of the Eagle River Chain of lakes. The Largest freshwater chain of lakes in the world! The Morey has a very large kichen/greatroom area and is very comfy. this is a seasonal cabin open from May through October. It is fully equipped with everything needed for fun and enjoyable stay. Window AC units keep it cool on the hot days and in wall heater keeps it warm on those chilly nights. over 300' ft of west facing shoreline make for stunning sunsets. Our private beach and piers for a swim or relaxing in the sun. Pontoon rentals available. Kayaks are free for guest use when available. Close to downtown and many shops and restaurants. Golfing, trails for hiking, biking abound in area.

Needed the heater, didn't seem to heat the place. Good thing there were plenty of blankets! A bit surprised how many items were not included... salt, pepper, bath towels. The onsite bar had limited hours, but the bartender Mo was great!

This cozy cabin is a hidden gem just steps from the lake! We loved the private fire pit and grill, lakefront bar, kayaks, dock access for fishing and great sunset views. The host is very friendly and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay!

Our host Jim, was friendly welcoming. He was at the resort. Area was adorable north woodsy, with lake access and nice pub on site.

My husband, son, grandson (age 11) and I stayed at this cabin for a long weekend. We all needed a getaway and this was the perfect place! Cabin had open concept, which made it feel larger. Didn't cook any meals (except for cinnamon rolls - yum!) but all the appliances are newer. We had a couple of issues while there, but Teena and Jim took care of them in a timely manner. Also, Phil (property manager) deserves a shout-out! My husband and son visited the Marina Bar and enjoyed it and the bartender. We rented a pontoon boat (very nice) from the St. Germain Boat Rentals (on the property) and had a blast fishing and traveling to the different lakes on Saturday. Fished from one of the docks and husband caught a small walleye. Grandson caught someone's swim shorts LOL! Had a late lunch on Friday at The Craftsman American Tavern in Eagle River - delicious food and great atmosphere (suggested by Teena - owner). Trig's is a very nice grocery store and the Ace Hardware is also very nice - in case you forgot something. Cabin is perfect for a small family or couple - already planning our longer getaway for next year. Teena and Jim - thank you for hosting us at your resort!
