Quokka at White Gum Lodge

Neat little unit, close to where we needed to be. Easy check in process with excellent communication from hosts.

The stairs down to the accommodation were covered with leaf litter and branches, which could be slippery when wet. Also, the stairway lighting did not work, making navigating the stairs difficult until the sensor light on the building was activated. This made it difficult for my elderly father to use. Also, there is an ant infestation. No matter how clean and clear the benchtops were kept, there was a constant stream of ants. Making fly spray available would have helped. Also, there were a lot of black millipedes in the bathroom and kitchen areas. Finally, the lack of natural light in the second bedroom was not great. There are no windows and you have to rely on the overhead lighting and lamps

It had off-street parking and a yard, two spacious bedrooms and was comfortable.

the location was fantastic as i was due in fremantle hospital the next day. the unit was spotless. everything we needed was there. the parking was free and the outsidie space lovely. the kitchen had all we needed and more. coffee milk etc. was great to sit under the tree. they had thought of every essential and the soaps and shampoo brand is fantastic. everything was easy to find, and very very clean. lovely comfortable befd and huge bedfrooms. loved the decor.

dreadful lighting down steps to unit. they nare solar and very dull as it had been raining. need stronger lights. hard to find number on front not big enough. the exhaust fan in bathroom inadequate. hook off on towel rail. bin lid broken, but NO EXHAUST IN KITCHEN when cooking the ALARM went off, had to keep front door open and it was very cold to do this, however was essential to combat the heat alarm going off.

Location was good, walking distance to Fremantle centre. Beds were comfortable.

The dishes were dirty, we had to wash them before being able to use them. There was a strange sound coming from the ventilation system. Not much possibility to air the accomodation, especially in the bathroom the moisture took a long time to clear. We had noise from the neighbours at 2 in the night.
