Goods left to consume was plentiful and lovely. Great Coffee, should be more pods. Nature it offered at the back table and chairs & Sunbed/lounge. Comfort of TV Lounge and TV Networks we found were free for us. Stayed in MARAK. It had a backyard Spa with indoor Bath sitting looking into the wilderness. It had a very clean space, shower, kitchen.... it was all like new. Strange the Place Pavillions was very unheard of from locals ie Adelaide Suburbia. 5 days was enough. Overall enjoyed the stay over Xmas with partner it was very romantic and would recommend this beautiful, relaxing and the natural wildlife/bush surroundings to anybody looking for a chilled break.

Change off Bath Towels should have been daily but it was Christmas.

Lovely garden, nicely appointed inside (mostly), comfy bed, spa, good access to wineries in the area and Hahndorf

The booking said breakfast included which implies for all of the stay in my experience. The breakfast provisions were not up to luxury stay standard and only for 1 morning. UHT milk rather than fresh! No where near enough butter or condiments. Very noisy and busy road with traffic noise starting g about 6am. Place was not at all sound proofed. There was a large hole in the flywire and one window was very dirty. When I mentioned the breakfast to the staff I was treated in a dismissive manner. They stated you were told about the breakfast provisions. Not a luxury stay response. I also noticed that previous guests had given the same feedback with no improvement. Just put more butter, muesli etc there! They want to charge $150 each for early check in AND late check out which is excessive and not sure why? 3pm check in is quite late and 10am quite early in my experience 2pm and 11am are usual for 5 star places. $550 a night we paid for Merak.

There was no cooking facilities like oil etc I understand we needed to bring our own supplies, but basics like oil salt and pepper should have been provided. The electric stove was locked and very difficult to work out how to unlock it. There was only one extra garbage bag provided.
