B&B Dal Viceré - Villa Mezzalira

A tulajdonosok nagyon kedvesek, minden igényre próbálnak odafigyelni, Carla még glutén és laktóz mentes süteményt is készített, külön miattam :) és is finom volt! :D Az ágy jó, nagy és kényelmes, különleges hely.

Fantastic location, cultural heritage and superb hosts

What can I add to what others have said about B&B Dal Viceré before?? Our stay here was incredible. When we found this B&B first, we couldn't believe how beautiful it looked, and when we got there our expectations were surpassed! The house is a centuries-old residence that actually belonged to royalty in the area in the past. The family who runs the B&B have had the house for generations and now rent 3 of their bedrooms providing a genuine experience of how it would have been to live in a house like this in the past. The decoration is authentic and really beautiful. All rooms have a charm that can't be described. We asked Francesco and Carla (Son and Mom) if we could see the rest of the house (only second floor is open to visitors) and they, very graciously, gave us a tour of the entire house. WOW. The historical rooms downstairs, the multiple kitchens and dining areas with original china and silverware. It's just crazy! Our room was VERY large with private bathroom and an in-suite seating area, and had all necessary items to make our stay a very comfortable one. At night you can hear a pin drop. The house is located in the country side and there's zero disturbance at night. It's also pitch-black. So very serene and quiet, which we loved. The breakfast was super tasty, as others have mentioned. Carla's cakes in the morning live up to the reviews and expectations! And breads, pastries and coffee were also incredible. Getting in and out of the property is super easy- though, you need a car and a GPS. It's also worth mentioning that the house is located about 10-15 mins in car from to Vicenza itself (highly recommended) and to nearby towns. After a recommendation by Carla and Francesco, we visited the Museum-Gipsoteca Antonio Canova in Possagno (about 40 mins from the house in car) and it was a treat. Highly recommended too. Una villa conservata con la massima cura, con una lunga storia, circondata da un parco fiabesco. Le camere, spaziose e accoglienti, conservano un'atmosfera d'altri tempi. La loggia è un luogo magico sospeso nel tempo. I proprietari, Carla, Francesco e Diego hanno una grande attenzione e disponibilità per gli ospiti.
