On the Beach

Excellent location, fully stocked kitchen, easy parking, very good shower water pressure, spacious for a party of 6.

Some cosmetic repairs needed; screens on inside storage area and deck over looking the beach need repair, bathrooms could use some updating. Not a deal breaker.

Location was great and the unit was comfortable. It was nice to be right on the sand with a nice view from the screened porch. Close to fine restaurants & food shopping.

As an accomplished cook & aspiring chef, the kitchen needs WORK! Pots & Pans are old worn out badly scratched Teflon. I brought my own Chef Knives- ones provided couldn’t cut butter and are dangerous. No Tupperware, sheet pans, or manual can opener- the electric doesn’t work. Only two different sized wine glasses, the blender & toaster need to be recycled or burned. All this made cooking very difficult, the oven needs a deep cleaning. I will consult other booking agents or go directly to the host in the future.

The location was perfect!

There was no screen and lock in the bedroom screen door. This was very disappointing because when staying on the beach, I love the sliding door open to hear the ocean and get the breeze when laying in bed. Vacasa said it was not possible to fix during our stay. There was no hair dryer. Discovered that when hair was wet and getting ready to go to dinner. Had to open several tickets to get them to deliver a hair dryer. Got it the next day. Even though they said let us know how we could help, communication wasn’t the greatest. Toaster only toasted on one side. We used toaster everyday and took twice as long to toast because had to take bread out and flip it. Also, had to clean one of the toilets when we arrived since cleaning missed it.

The kitchen sink fell through the cabinet! The community wifi doesn’t work, so don’t expect to get online. They closed the beach access which is one reason we paid more to stay beachfront. They closed the pool showers so you had to walk out to the parking lot and use a water hose! We had to go through a flooded alley to access the beach. One tv never connected because the signal was so poor due to cheap community wifi. No hair dryer in the unit. Can opener doesn’t work. The screen was missing off the sliding glass door. Some of the blinds fell because they were taped on. The screen on screened in porch was torn and the porch had garbage on it.
