This was the best place I stayed during my travels through Spain and Portugal. The location in Elvas is excellent, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of everything. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by Marta, who was simply wonderful. Her kindness and warmth immediately made me feel at home. She took the time to show me around the property, explain the facilities, and share information about Elvas, which I greatly appreciated. I stayed for two nights in a six-bed dorm and had the entire room to myself throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable and included its own reading light and charging point. The dorm also had small lockers for valuables, a seating area with a sofa, and a private bathroom with three showers and two toilets. Linens, towels, and a locker key were all provided. Everything was spotless. The property itself is beautiful, and the common areas, including the living room with books and a TV, the indoor patio, and the kitchen, were inviting and thoughtfully maintained. The kitchen was particularly impressive: spacious, well-equipped, and ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking. The hostel was quiet during my stay, which allowed me to fully appreciate its peaceful atmosphere and charm. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The property was clean. The staff are friendly. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

The location.

The patio, one of the main reasons for choosing this guest house, had the noise of air conditioning machines. In the kitchen the wine glasses are not available for guests, closed in a place. The reason why is because the hosts are clumsy... that was the staff explanation the next day. The staff is not attentive or nice. Required me explanations about noise in the guest house the day before, asking if it was me. It is not a nice approach. And there was an unpleasant smell in the corridor that goes to the room.
