The Hotel zum Roten Bären with the Baden restaurant is located in the old town of Freiburg and is the oldest inn in Germany. The 'Red Bear' has been hosting guests in Freiburg for 700 years. In 25 rooms, including 14 double rooms, 8 single rooms and 3 suites, some of which face the quiet inner gardens and some of Freiburg's Oberlinden square, we offer our guests tradition, atmosphere and cosiness, combined with the amenities and comfort of the present. The region spoils our restaurant in the old town of Freiburg with excellent products from agriculture, hunting and the vineyards. As a conference hotel in the center of Freiburg, we provide equipment and rooms, as well as meals and accommodation. It is a pleasure for us to be your host in the center of Freiburg.
The rooms on the third floor of the house either have a view of Freiburg's old town or the quiet inner garden. The modern bathrooms with high openings to the room have a shower and / or bathtub, separate toilet, free-standing washbasin, a heated marble floor and generous storage space. In the rooms with furniture made from dark stained cherry wood, decorative fabrics in rust and rose tones accent the dark gray marbled carpet. The room amenities include an electronic safe, a flat screen television (LCD), and comfortable armchairs or recliners. The box spring beds with cold foam mattresses are partly separated.
