The holiday apartment:
This bright and newly renovated (Feb. 2020) 3-room apartment with a maritime look offers enough space for up to four people. It is particularly suitable for families with children and invites you to take a relaxing break on the beautiful Baltic island of Poel. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a quiet residential complex and has a terrace with a directly adjacent meadow to let off steam. There is also a playground and parking space. It is only a 5-minute walk to the Kirchdorf harbor. The open Baltic Sea is only 1.1 km away.
Furnishing:
The apartment Schwanennest is equipped with a kitchenette with fridge, electric hot plates / stove, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and microwave. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS; Free.
In the cozy living room there are 2 sofas, an armchair and a large dining table for 4 people. A TV and stereo, board games and books are available.
From the living room you reach the sunny terrace with garden furniture. The bedroom has a double bed (160x200). The children's room has a massive bunk bed (80x200) and a nice play area with toys. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, hairdryer and toilet. A parking space is available at the house. In addition, a travel cot and high chair are available for our very young guests. It is a non-smoking apartment.

If desired, bed linen sets can be provided for € 10.00 per person for initial equipment and for every further change, as well as towels € 3.00 per piece. Please register when booking.

Kirchdorf is at the center of the holiday island, is the largest town on Poel and offers shopping for everyday needs and many good fish restaurants right on the harbor.
The island:
The island of Poel is 37 km² in size and can be reached via a bridge. As a seaside resort, it offers excellent excursions by bike and on foot, but several cities (see surroundings) can also be reached quickly by car. There are many shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches with white sand and wicker chairs. There are also several playgrounds, mini golf courses, a water sports school and a quiet cliff. Those who want more action can enjoy fishing trips, bike rentals, a riding stable, boat trips to Boltenhagen, Rerik, Lübeck or a seal sand bank.
The environment:
Day trips for shopping, relaxation and education are possible, especially to Wismar (18 min), which can be seen from Poel. Bad Doberan (40 min), Schwerin (40 min), Rostock / Warnemünde (47 min) and Lübeck (60 min) are also easily accessible by car.
The journey from Hamburg is (1h 30min) and from Berlin (2h 45min).

Wir haben zwei Wochen lang unseren Sommerurlaub auf Poel verbracht. Insel und Umgebung sind sehr schön mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten für junge Familien.
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet - vom Kinderspielzeug über umfangreiche Küchenutensilien bis zum Föhn war alles vorhanden und in gutem Zustand. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter bietet die Unterkunft genug Platz um mal ein oder zwei Tage zu Hause zu verbringen.
Wir waren positiv überrascht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die freundlichen Vermieter waren gut erreichbar und die Kommunikation völlig unkompliziert.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Ferienwohnung war für unseren Kurzurlaub perfekt und wir haben vieles vorgefunden, was uns nützlich und angenehm war. Gerne wieder!

Wir hatten tolle Tage in dieser wirklich schön eingerichteten Wohnung. Es war alles sauber und vorhanden, was man so im Urlaub braucht. Bei Ankunft fehlte die dazugebuchte Bettwäsche, nach einem kurzen Anruf hat es keine Stunde gedauert bis alles da war.
Die Kommunikation vorab war unkompliziert und modern - dank PayPal, Email oder WhatsApp.

Die Wohnung hat eine sehr ruhige und schöne Lage. Der Ort und die Umgebung sind toll. Der Check-In hat wunderbar geklappt und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war top - immer schnelle Antwort auf Fragen. Für etwas ältere Kinder ist das Kinderzimmer toll, das Hochbett und das Spielzeug ist super. Für Babys oder etwas kleinere Kinder, die noch bei den Eltern im Zimmer schlafen ist die Wohnung einfach viel zu hellhörig, die Türen knarren und im Wohnzimmer kann man wirklich nur sehr sehr leise sein, damit im Schlafzimmer nebenan Ruhe ist. Sauberkeit war OK - das Geschirr usw. in der Küche war alles etwas schmutzig und schmierig - müssen die Mieter ja selber sauber halten, das nehmen dann viele anscheinend nicht so genau. Auch hat uns die Beschreibung "frisch renoviert" etwas irritiert, denn danach sieht es nun wirklich nicht aus. Die Gardinenstange im Wohnzimmer fällt fast aus der Wand, ebenso das Regal im Schlafzimmer, welches an der Wand ist. Auch das Bad wirkt eher uralt anstatt frisch renoviert..... Dennoch ist die Wohnung nett eingerichtet und ein paar Tage kann man es gut aushalten.
