Our stay did not start out well as the cleaning crew was not done when we got there. We were unable to get in until one hour and twenty minutes after our allotted check in time. We had to stay outside in the heat with elderly grandmothers, an 8 month old, 1 year old, and 2 year old. While we did receive response from the property manager, it was quite some time after this occurred and we were only offered an “I’m sorry.” Then once we got in, it was not overly clean as we found items from the previous renters there like toys, a balloon, and trash still in various locations. While I understand things come up that are unforeseen, we were not offered any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. We simply got a “sorry”.
All of that being said, the house was a great size and a great location! We did love being so close to the beach and having a pool. We had a wonderful time and so it was a great ending to a rough start.
