Alte Schreinerei, charmantes Ferienhaus gegenüber der Loreley

Die Einrichtung der Räume war sehr schön.Die Lage ruhig und man konnte direkt vom Haus loswandern.Durch die Ortsrandlage war man sehr schnell im Grünen und bei tollen Aussichtspunkten auf den Rhein.

Es waren etwas wenig Spülutensilien,vor allem Küchenhandtücher,vorhanden. Die Tür der Dusche schloss nicht dicht und es fehlte eine Ablage für Shampoo etc. Der Toilettensitz müsste befestigt werden.

The town of Biebernheim... Although it is officially in Sankt Goar township it is quite different from the center on the Rhine...it was absolutely charming...the people, the walk in the wheatfields outside the village...the views of the Rhine and the Lorelei...a true oasis in a fairly touristed place...works best if you have a car..The house itself was also quite charming...and I loved the decor... The house has ample room, although do note that it is on three levels so you have to be able to climb steps...which of course is no problem for most travelers....It had THE most comfortable beds we have slept on so far on this trip as well. Both the sun porch of the kitchen and the little sitting area in front of the house(could be used as parking as well) were lovely to have. We especially enjoyed sitting there on Witt Monday (a holiday in Germany) as the people out for a walk came by.

The only thing I might wish is that they give you one more roll of toilet paper 😊. That being said when my mother got food poisoning the hosts were truly helpful even though they were in southern germany for work.

The apartment is in an urbanization away from the Rin in a rural area without services of any kind, supermarket, bar, restaurant. It is a beautiful apartment in terms of decoration, it does not lack details and poshness that in my case made me choose this place. It is extremely hot, in fact, upstairs there is a room that when you enter it seemed like an oven. Very difficult to sleep there. An air conditioner would definitely improve customer service.

We arrived late on a trip, after 6 hours driving all over Germany and you don't have a towel to shower with, which makes you very angry. They argue that they have sent you an e-mail two days before in which they tell you that it is not included. Gentlemen, excuse me, but in my 50 years and after having traveled halfway around the world, it is the first time that I go to an apartment and there is no shower towel, incredible but true. You have to think, if it serves as a suggestion, that if you are not going to put towels, notify people from the moment the apartment is rented because when you send this information we had already traveled through Germany for 12 days, and I can assure you that everywhere we have had shower towels. Second part, I am going to use the washing machine and it is disabled with a padlock, It seemed like a hidden camera. It is true that I called and they granted me the possibility of using it. Thirdly, the house is full of padlocks, so the windows are closed and you can't open all of them, I don't understand why, with the danger that this entails from the point of view of prevention and security. Upstairs in the living room there is an entrance that is disabled and you can not climb the stairs. In the kitchen there are no basic things, a cutting board, kitchen knives; In the morning we had scrambled eggs with vegetables for breakfast and I saw them and wished I could cut chopped onions, tomatoes, green peppers with a normal knife. There are not tablecloths, luckily I had bought some in Bamberg and I had time to wear them for the first time. For coffee, they give you two filters and three rolls of toilet paper. Luckily, there is a wonderful supermarket in Sank Goar that has everything and where you can buy things as basic as a scourer for washing. In short, this apartment with miserable details is a disappointment. It is true that the price is very good but raise the price, please, and cover minimums.
