Casa Carlos - Villa en Son Cabrises

Lovely quiet location, lots of space

Excellent secluded location, yet within a walking distance from Casa Blanca and a short drive from a number of bigger supermarkets. Carlos, the villa owner, was very friendly and treated us to a bottle of wine. The pool is large and good enough for a proper swim. The nights are dark and great for stargazing.

The photos on the website are a bit misleading and should be updated. The patio area looks a bit neglected and most potted plants are dead. Menorca Habitat charge €10 per person to hire pool towels. This information was not available to us prior to arrival and meant an additional expense. The pool area lacks proper sun parasols. We found a couple of old ones in the shed and purchased an additional one as it’s not possible to spend anytime around the pool without shade. The pool nets had holes in them making pool cleaning tricky. The air conditioning unit is tricky to run as the doors don’t work properly. The toilet seat was broken. Fridge could be bigger considering that the property can accommodate 6 people. The kitchen lacked essentials like salt/pepper/oil all of which are listed as included in the property listing on Airbnb.
