Come to Snug Harbor, a cozy hideaway in Sturgeon Bay where your comfort and enjoyment are important to us. Come, relax and enjoy. Experience a peaceful vacation in your own private cottage. Enjoy all the comforts of a luxury resort with fireplaces, full kitchens, and living rooms with the stunning surroundings of cliffs, water, and wooded lots. Choose from our four Snug Harbor cottages or our offsite Little Harbor Cottages, all cottages are nonsmoking.
Dogs are allowed! They must be at least one year of age and fully potty trained. We also ask that they not be left alone in the unit. Please inquire about our full pet policy and pet-sitting suggestions. The cost for your pet is $15 per night plus tax.

Beautiful water front property. Room was a little dirty(spider webs, thick dust, etc.) but nothing more than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in. If you are staying with young kids beware the fire place is always hot to touch with pilot light on. Staff was very friendly, easy check-in/check-out, and great price for stay.

My wife and I do an annual retreat every year where we take a few days to relax, read, and spend time together. Door County in the off-season has fewer people and Snug Harbor is a great place to stay. It is always clean, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the downtown area, and quite peaceful. The gas fireplace and view out the front window are particular highlights of the cottage we stayed in. This is our fourth time staying at Snug Harbor and we have never been disappointed. Don't change anything--thank you!

Although the layout of the cottage and view was good for us, the kitchen items were not organized and overused, the shower did not appear to work but then we learned that it is an older model with a faucet ring to connect shower, some areas had not been cleaned for awhile and the outdoor furniture needs updating and wiped down. The picnic table is very weathered. This cottage has much potential if simple updates were made.
