About this house rental
Welcome to Lamberts Cove! Our family has been on-island for generations and we invite you to our family home at the end of a private road. Enjoy 240* views of the cove from the house-long back deck that include some of the best sunsets on the planet.
Our home has three bedrooms: the master (Cal. king) is on the opposite end from the other two bedrooms (queen, 2 twins) with the kitchen and living space between. Master has a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a hall bathroom, and all bedrooms have a view to the water. Discreet powder room off the main living area. Take a leisurely breakfast or an early evening cocktail on the screened in porch just off the kitchen.
Easy driving to town: 10min to Vineyard Haven and the original Black Dog, 15min to Oak Bluffs and America's oldest carousel, The Flying Horses. Famous Edgartown is 20min, as are the colorful Aquinnah/Gay Head Cliffs. Walk down the hill along your private path to the beach and walk to Split Rock or Town Beach. At the end of the day, take a refreshing outdoor shower, then grill fresh fish, sip cocktails on the deck and enjoy your quintessential Vineyard vacation!

Myself and two young adult children had the nicest time for our annual Father's Day weekend getaway. The home is well appointed with both covered and uncovered porches with wide views of the ocean. 10 minute drive to the town and ferry. They even have a private beach and it's only a 5 minute walk down your private stairs. They can't control the weather, but if you want a serene , private stay without neighbors yelling all night..... look no further.
