This Missoula vacation home sits on a large, tranquil fenced lot with native gardens just one block from Rattlesnake Creek and Greenough Park. The home is one mile from the University of Montana and Downtown Missoula (including Farmers Markets, Restaurants, Breweries/Distilleries, Galleries, Museums). The home is also within few miles from of numerous hiking and biking trailheads.
Relax on the large backyard patio and enjoy the native gardens, beautiful landscaping, and sounds of Rattlesnake Creek while you gaze upon Mount Jumbo.
The house is cozy, quite, very energy efficient with quality construction and appliances throughout and lots of natural light. All the floors are either wood or tile.
The kitchen and dining area features granite counter tops, custom cabinets and a dining room table made from 100-year old reclaimed Doug fir beams. The house comes equipped with top-of-the-line knives and stainless cookware, ample bakeware, a stainless french press, and an assortment of 20 common cooking spices.
Main bedroom on 1st floor includes a queen-sized bed and vintage dresser and mirror. Upstairs loft bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the spaces doubles as an office, with desk and office chair. The loft has 4 large skylights (two of which open completely) with amazing views of Mount Jumbo and into the forest canopy of Greenough Park.
Cozy gas fireplace in living room. Extra den-type room on first floor with vegan leather couch looks out toward private backyard gardens.
Very efficient triple-pane windows (w/ internal blinds) throughout the main floor.
Full basement with Maytag front-load washer and dryer and plenty of storage space.
Super energy efficient, with a brand new (October 2025) gas furnace. No central AC.
