Zissis Villa & pool 5min drive to beach

This villa is as stunning. Set well away from the road with a gated entrance and substantial private parking. On our arrival we were met by our hosts who were very welcoming and showed us around their beautiful property. The villa had brilliant aircon, was well equipped, spacious, with great views of the Church of St Nikolaos and the surrounding countryside. The pool area is superb with a great bar and plenty of sunbeds. The hosts live onsite but are very discreet, we had the whole first, second floor and pool area to ourselves. Our hosts were very friendly, and went above and beyond providing us with a welcome pack, and a delicious home made cheese and courgette pie with their own wine part way through our holiday. Supermarkets and beaches are a drive away so a car is advisable, but taxis are available. We were a group of 9 which meant that one person slept in the living area, but this was not an issue as a comfortable bed was provided. There are balconies for each bedroom, the main balcony at the front has a great view and a huge dining table for al fresco dining. We were in Zante for a family wedding and a 60th Birthday and had a brilliant time. We can't praise the accomodation highly enough. The best we have ever had. We would definitely love to return.

La gentillesse et la bienveillance de nos hôtes. C’était un service 5 étoiles, nous avons eu droit à des petits plats cuisinés par la propriétaire : magnifique ! La maison est super, les équipements sont bien et la piscine est propre et surtout fraiche ! Grand plus : le petit bar adjacent avec frigo, robinet, etc.

I loved everything about Zissis Villa. The entire property is beautiful. The outdoor facilities were superb. The pool was large, the sunbeds surrounding it were in perfect condition. There is a great bar next to it with a tablet that we used to play music from. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after the pool as well as an outdoor bathroom so you don't have to run back into the house. There is a BBQ next to the bar where you can also fire up the grill if you like. The beautiful vineyard leading to the pool is also great. The villa itself is extremely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean. The open space living room, kitchen and dining area is so spacious and provided ample space for our group of 8 people. The bedrooms are a wonderful size with lots of sunlight and a TV in each one allowing for anyone to retreat and nap or have some time for themselves. The bathrooms were as beautiful and have a great rain shower. What is more impressive is the attention to detail. The kitchen was stocked with everything a normal home would have. There wasn't a single utensil or cookware item missing. Both bathrooms had their own hairdryer (believe me this is much appreciated with 4 women staying there). The large terrace overlooking the pool was great to sit out on. What is most noteworthy, are the hosts, Zissis and Tzina. They were so hospitable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They showed us around the property and immediately made us feel at home. Throughout our stay they were helpful regarding restaurants to eat at and beaches to visit. They were generous, providing drinks and food in both refrigerators in the house and the outdoor bar. They were attentive and discreet at the same time. They are genuinely good people. The care they put into their entire property and they themselves as people is what makes me proud to be Greek and makes me proud to know that foreigners coming to this property will truly experience what we here in Greece call filoxenia.

Everything was perfect, the owners Gina and Zissis are kind and working people and they have done a lot of things for us. They brought us every day local products from thier garden( eggs, figs, lemons, olive oil, wine, etc) and they also cooked for us some excellent traditional foods like pasticio. The house is perfect and very clean with everything you need, but the main atraction is the pool and the bar outside. The private parking is big and it has a sunroof. The location of the villa is very good so you can visit the entire island! Every aspect deserves the best feedback and we thank Gina and Zissis for their hospitality and I hope I will see them again!
