About this campground/ rv resort rental
Need a getaway without a long drive or high cost? Come enjoy this lake front escape on our private 6 acre lake! Peaceful and quiet but not remote or difficult to get to. This place still has work to be done on the outside so if you care about the outer appearance, wait til next summer to book this one. Recently moved from other side of lake for more guest privacy and amazing views! Woods on one side, lake on other. Swimming pool is 18x33 and open approx Memorial Dal to Oct. Pics of outdoor pool recently added. Hot tub is also now open for additional charge and needs a reservation. The pool, docks (there are 2) , hot tub are all shared areas. We can't commit one unit to have complete access but we've never had an issue, plenty of room. If you need a break at a low cost - this is the one. The pictures will sum it up for you. Yes it's a mobile home but it's been fully gutted and redone from top to bottom, you name it, it got done. Fish to your hearts content off the docks, relax in the gazebo overlooking the water. Bring your lawn chair and come sit lakeside and fish, do a campfire, cookout etc. Launch Paddle boat/kayak /walking/riding trails. Even horses are available with advance notice. You can bring your pets but message and gain approval first. Gravel Parking for 2 or there's plenty of extra parking available. This unit is not suitable for children under 10 - please request prior approval for children under 10. Please message for pet approval prior to booking. Please do not book if you are expecting the entire property to yourself. Three houses share the dock, gazebo and pool. We do stay in the property the pool is attached to and that is also a short term rental. So we may be there to maintain pool, etc but we aren't going to bother you or be on the dock or at the pool with you but if the main house is rented, other guests will be present. We want you to be HAPPY and have an awesome time! Please let us know your plans so we can make sure it's what you are looking for, and also make special accommodations for you if we can. Communication is VERY important so we can be sure to meet your needs.

Really enjoyed our stay. Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover. Bed very comfortable. Interior clean and new. So convenient to family. Liked listening to the frogs and seeing other wildlife. Looking forward to a return visit.

This property does not look like much from the outside right now, rest assured the interior is in excellent shape and is very cozy. I stayed here with my wife, son and two dogs. The lake is right there, and the fishing is great. If you get out on the water and go to the other side of the lake, I was pulling in largemouth just about every cast, but fishing was also just fine off their dock.The property owners live nearby, and are very nice folks. They were very accommodating and always willing to help out if we needed anything.My only gripe about the place is that there were not areas immediately near the cabin for the dogs to do their business, instead having to use the driveway or walk a bit away from the cabin. This was not a huge deal by any means, just a minor inconvenience. The place is excellent if your dogs do well off leash. The Dish for TV works great, had no issues with that. We put their internet through the ringer I am sure. We did a working vacation, since all of us were doing work and/or school virtually. It struggled a little bit, but only when all three of us were in virtual meetings/classes. There is a Roku in the main bedroom, however we did not use this.The cabin had all the household essentials you would expect to have. Pots, pans, silverware, plates, bowls glasses. There are grills available though we did not use them. In all, our goal was to get away from our house and relax in a nature rich environment, and get some fishing in. This checked those boxes for us and we had a good time.
