About this house rental
The perfect spot if you like to spend your time in a quiet area but not too far away from Bellapais village life. Villa Mistral is a delightful villa set at the top of the charming village of Bellapais, overlooking the beautiful ruined Abbey of Bellapais.
When you turn around there are views of the beautiful Kyrenia mountains.
Villa Mistral is all on one level with a pretty courtyard at the front and a lovely pool-deck, with kidney-shaped pool at the back. From the pool-deck there are stunning views of the 14th Century Abbey of Bellapais and down to the blue of the Mediterranean and the Turkish coast beyond.
The villa has a contemporary feel and is furnished to a high standard. It offers three double bedrooms and three bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Villa Mistral is totally private and secure. The historic village of Bellapais offers several lovely restaurants and bars, shops for basic provisions and interesting artifact shops. There are opportunities for delightful walks from the villa, and the people of Bellapais are charming and friendly.

Lovely well equipped bungalow, in the village of Bellapais, offering amazing views.A small car is needed as property is up a steep narrow road, but location is perfect.

A quaint villa, with wonderful views out towards Kyrenia and perfectly situated for the best of Bellapais.
There's been some really positive improvements made to this villa in recent years, such as upgrades to the bathrooms and added parking, which is massively helpful. More focus is still needed on the basics though, in particular better kitchen utensils, patio furniture and proper wi fi. Nevertheless, this is still a great little villa on the edge of a beautiful village, and is accurately but competitively priced.

We have stayed in Bellapais many times and found the villa easily. Parking concerns were put to rest as a parking bay has been built at the house.
The villa is situated at the top of a narrow and steep hill - hence the wonderful views, but it is a climb and not for the elderly. We would recommend a small car - if only to get the shopping (including water bottles) - up the hill!
The villa was clean, welcoming and furnished comfortably without clutter. There are attractive prints on the walls. There is more than adequate linen and decent bedroom storage. Two of the three bathrooms are new and the shower was probably the best we had experienced in Bellapais (decent water pressure for Bellapais!).
The swimming pool is small but a perfect size for cooling off. The pool terrace area has one of the best views in Bellapais/Kyrenia. There is even a very gentle breeze!
The (admittedly minor) disappointment was the kitchen. Decent fridge, gas cooker and microwave but poor kitchen and dining equipment -rather studenty - and let the villa down. I would have struggled to cook for a family group. We decided we would eat out every night (not a hardship as the restaurants in Bellapais are great!). The dongle WiFi was adequate for messages and emails.
The agent was extremely approachable and responded quickly to our minor concerns which she dealt with promptly.
Our best Bellapais villa experience so far and we have every intention of staying here again!
