Peaceful. Friendly staff and owner.

The property is admittedly older (they are upfront about it on the website) but it is clean, well-equipped AND fantastically well-located with a bus-stop right outside. There's a bus every 15mins or so. Added convenience - 5mins walk to 88 Broadway with AusPost, cafes, Asian mart, supermarket, eateries, etc. 1 car park in the blue lots. We were here in summer and while the aircon unit is only in the main bedroom, the apartment while on the top floor was quite cool. On hotter days, we turned the aircon on and the stand fan circulated the cool air through the unit. Terry (the owner) is a lovely person with a wealth of knowledge and so willing to chat and share.

Laundry is $4 a load and dryer another $4 a load in the basement (2×$2 coins). We were here in summer so we hung the clothes to dry in the enclosed balcony with the plentiful hangers and hanging rack available in the apartment. Do note that you'll need your own detergent too. Would be perfect especially for longer stays if the apartment has its own laundry facilities.

Lovely, cosy interior. Close to everything including public transport. Responsive owners.

If there are any issues (it is in an older building, after all), the owners are very prompt at responding to calls for help.

Set out well. Clean. Next door to UWA - location was perfect.
