About this house rental

The house is in a small beach side community on the north coast near Athens. It is quiet, and friendly. We are half an hour away by car from the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion. Central Athens is a 40 minute drive away so easily accessible for site-seeing by day and evenings/nights out as well. My home is a peaceful modern, bright, airy seaside villa with magnificent sea views, and direct access to the sea from our own rock platform below the house. There is plenty of indoor space for lounging, readying, contemplating, and outdoor space both shaded and to soak up the sun from. The house has recently refurbished, with minimal stylish clean lines.

None of the photos in the listing show how wonderful this property is. We were two single friends and one couple. There was much room to spare. Everyone had their own bath. The beds are comfortable with amazing linen bedding, living room with projection TV made for a fun movie night. The upper and pool decks caught the winds off the water so, even in the heat of summer, outside living was always comfortable. The path to the waters edge is magical and we loved hunting for sea glass. All of the fantastic places which visitors to Greece must see are an easy drive. After the hustle and bustle of Athens and the crowded tour of the Acropolis, the peaceful, waterside house was our refuge. Gerald was lovely and always responsive with great shopping and dining suggestions. I was skeptical of all the five star ratings, but now I understand.
