About the Villa:
Nestled between the emerald jungle and blue Caribbean Sea is a private enclave called Tankah. Directly on the beachfront is Villa Coccoloba. The open concept design of Villa Coccoloba seamlessly integrates several outdoor living areas with the comfortable, and well-appointed interior. The property has marble flooring throughout. Each room is uniquely decorated with natural stone accents, built in cabinetry, custom made furniture and original, local artwork. Floor to ceiling windows and patio doors open up to stunning seascapes and ocean breezes.
Oceanfront, guests can enjoy the 6 hole putting green. A unique feature of the property, “Crab Alley” is a relaxing place to watch the sunrise or enjoy a putt over afternoon cocktails. A large, heated, in-ground pool sits at the centre of the property, surrounded by a pool deck and tropical gardens. Each bedroom is oceanfront and equipped with toiletries, quality linens, and bathroom and beach towels. High speed fibre-optic internet is available throughout the property. The house has Smart TV’s, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and TV streaming services.
In addition to the spacious indoor areas, Villa Coccoloba provides outdoor pool and beach loungers, bar stools, and hammocks to comfortably enjoy the sunshine, pool, beach, and night stars.
A Chef, Housekeeper, and Groundskeeper work Monday to Saturday, and if you arrive or depart on a Sunday. Their services are included in the nightly rate. The cost of groceries is additional.

Off the kitchen and overlooking the pool is an outdoor dining area perfect for afternoon lunches shaded by a giant palm. The first ensuite bedroom is also located on the ground floor and opens up to the oceanfront putting green. A powder room is located off of the main entry hall.

The second floor of Villa Coccoloba hosts a master suite, third bedroom, and a large media room. Outdoor balconies span the length of the house on both sides, overlooking the beach and putting green at the front, and the pool and patio at the back. The master suite has a spacious bedroom, separated from a smaller sleeping nook by a hallway and large bathroom. The third bedroom has a deluxe bathroom with a deep bathtub backlit by a glowing onyx wall, and an open couples shower.

I can't recommend this place enough! From the moment we booked, Hollie was incredibly warm, & welcoming by providing helpful information and suggestions and ensuring everything was ready for our stay. She was very responsive to all our questions. When there was an issue with the gate locking, it was fixed within hours. The area felt secluded and safe. We felt very safe as a group of 2 couples. We did rent a car to make it easier to explore Tulum. The beach isn't swimmable, but nice to put a lawn chair by and put your feet in during low tide. There is a really nice cenote thats a 10 minute walk away thats great for a swim, and of course the pool is great. The house itself was constantly clean and everything was comfortable and well stocked. Even on hot days there was a cool breeze and the A/C worked well when needed. Without a doubt, the star of the trip was Jorge! His meals were so thoughtful and tailored to what we wanted and absolutely delicious. He's very talented at his craft! We were planning on eating out in Tulum, but then cancelled all those plans to stay and eat Jorge's meals! He also made us different flavoured margaritas and fresh juices every day which were delicious! One person in our group has extreme allergies and Jorge was very careful with preparation. Jorge and Antonio created a beautiful menu for us and were so amazing. There were many areas to lounge and relax and we loved every second of our vacation. Thank you Hollie! We can't wait to return!

We were a family of 5 with a 21 month old toddler. The house is very nice, spacious and well appointed. The host, Hollie, was very responsive and clearly cares for her guests. The putting green was a plus and well enjoyed. The chef, Jorge, was excellent and adjusted spices to fit our palette. We enjoyed our stay!

The property was just as described and immaculate. It was a 5 night relaxation trip for my wife and I. We could not have been more pleased! The rental included a chef (Jorge) who was utterly fantastic and the meals prepared were planned with us and delicious. The housekeeper (Diana) and groundskeeper ((Jesus) were equally superb. The house and grounds were top shelf and anyone would be happy and well pleased with thier stay at this property. A

Hollie and her staff were outstanding in every way - responsive, accommodating, and helpful. Chef Manuel was an absolute highlight providing beautiful and delicious meals 3 times daily. We were celebrating a birthday so Hollie set a beautiful table with sparkling rose to help us celebrate.
We did not love the location of the property - almost too remote and a $40-$60 taxi ride (each way) to town and hotel zone. Lots of construction ongoing in the area. Divers would LOVE the location as it's only a 15 minute walk to a cenote. Beach and area is rough with sharp rocks, coral and seagrass, and washed up plastic debris (we were impressed by Hollie's ban of single use plastics on the property). We did do a little snorkeling in the bay about a mile north (only accessible by beach) but the seagrass made it difficult.
Despite the less than desirable location, this is a gorgeous villa complete with everything you will need for a fun filled stay.
