About this cabin rental
This gorgeous log cabin is located in a quiet subdivision in the bluffs above the village of Ferryville (pop. 191). So many reasons to stay at this luxurious home, including our attention to design, amenities, cleanliness and comfort. Perfect for a romantic get-away, for your family, or whatever your group might be. We have a large great room with a gas fireplace, spacious kitchen and dining room with plenty of seating. Loft bedroom en suite, and lower level has additional family room plus two private bedrooms and a full bathroom. This is a previous vacation rental that we purchased in January, 2020. Fresh paint, new furniture, linens and plenty of fun decor and amenities.
The loft has a king size bed with extra seating to have a cup of coffee. Lower level bedrooms each have a queen bed. Family room also has a convertible sofa and extra bedding if needed. HOT TUB on the patio just out the door from the family room.

The property was beautiful with an exceptional view! My only disappointment was that the fireplace was listed as "fireplace," not gas or electric fireplace. The pictures definitely made it look like a real wood burning fireplace with real wood stacked next to it. We picked up some firewood prior to going to the cabin. Found that it was not a wood-burning fireplace and we never could figure out how to turn it on. Suggestion: make up a readable list of TV channels that are subscribed to. Many of the channels on the list are not subscribed.

Long weekend trip with two of our adult kids and their significant others (and 2 dogs) to the driftless region of Wisconsin. The house was great for our group. Mom and Dad had their own space in the loft bedroom with great views of the Mississippi River. The "kids" had their own space in the lower level with easy access to the backyard. We all could gather on the main level for meals (dining room table seats 6) and to hang out. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, pizza pan and even had a slow cooker. House was in a very quiet subdivision with deer and turkey. We had a nice fire outside in the fire pit every night and the kids loved the hot tub, said it was very nice. We visited LaCrosse (about 1 hour north) and Prairie du Chien/Wyalusing State Park (about 1 hour south) and did lots of hiking. Weather was perfect! Got ice cream in Lansing, IA and fabulous pizza in Desoto. Saw many eagles on our adventures. Would recommend the house to anyone.

Cabin just as advertised- GREAT VIEW, cozy cabin feel with enough room to cook, eat, and relax. It was a perfect place to meet up with old friends and enjoy each other's company. The screened-in porch was great for escaping the sun while still enjoying the outside. Views from the loft bedroom were amazing. Would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there were plenty of bathroom towels, toilet paper, and other essentials. The owners were friendly, responsive, and great to communicate with. We especially enjoyed the peaceful view and spotting wildlife from the property.One thing to note - both the bedrooms and bathrooms are either upstairs or downstairs, so guests with mobility concerns may want to plan accordingly. (We had no issues ourselves, just something to keep in mind.)
