Nice breakfast, friendly host and tidy place

We had overlooked that bathroom was shared, which we didn't anticipate could be the case. Noise in corridor is heard in rooms (door locks and people walking)

Not worth the value of the place, at all

The room was clean. The son of the hotel owner was very helpful and nice to deal with, more than willing to assist us with internet issues. Thanks to Youri.

The owner of the villa, Ms Monique, was really rude, strict and not nice to deal with, at all. She was not willing to help us not even with the room internet that was not working properly. She dealt us in certain rude manner as we don't speak Dutch. The pictures of the place are far from reality. The beach photos are completely fake in my opinion, as none of that landscape are part of the villa, not even close to it. The garden area is enclosed only for the breakfast time. We weren't aware the room had no toilet inside, only a sink to wash your face. That was really uncomfortable. The stay in Villa Monique is not worth the price.

A truly amazing place to stay in this gorgeous seaside town.

This was on the top three guest house I stayed in in over five years of living in Europe. The host was extremely accommodating, the property is gorgeous, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The host even prepared breakfast an hour and a half early for me because I had an event that I had to be at each morning before her scheduled breakfast time. The breakfast room and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing between trips to the beach. It is a very short walk to the shopping and restaurant area which is adjacent to the beach.

Superb

Monique is a superb hostess. Breakfast was rich and delicious. I am intolerant to gluten and to lactose and she provided gluten free bread and lactose free "dairy" products. Everything was clean and the garden we could use was just lovely.

Pleasant

The property is clean and the location is close to the main shopping street, bars and restaurants and the sea dike. The breakfast is good. There is a free public parking in the proximity of the property.

The advertising of the property on Booking.com is not correct and misleading. There is no private WC in the room, neither on the floor (being on the 2nd floor, we had to go on the ground floor in a shared WC with 4 other rooms. The private bathroom next door is OK, but there is no info whether the guests can use the bathtub (supposed to be a jacuzzi as well) or not. There is no info how to change the temperature of the water in the shower cabin (the handle to do that is outside the cabin on the installation of the bathtub). The types of the rooms on the property website are Standard and Comfort, while on Booking.com we have King Room with Garden View and whatever it means, it does not have a WC either.

Tout est parfait. L'accueil, la localisation, la chambre et le formidable petit-déjeuner! Il y a aussi moyen d'acheter des boissons et snacks sur place, à des prix tout à fait raisonnables.Très pratique. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits et c'est avec un pincement au coeur que nous sommes partis. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr.

La literie trop dure pour moi et l’oreiller trop mou (je n’avais pas vu qu’il y en avait un autre dans un tiroir). Le fait qu’il faille avoir fini son petit déjeuner a 9h30 au plus tard (surtout un dimanche).

Il est stipulé parking gratuit , mais il n'y que le parking public de l'église qui est gratuit, en effet(il faut avoir de la chance pour trouver une place) , mais le logement ne dispose pas de parking. Le buffet du petit déjeuner n'est pas réapprovisionné, premier arrivé, premier servi. Mon enfant a été malade et a vomi la nuit, je l'ai communiqué à l'hôte et elle a demandé à mon fils de terminer son bol de céréales au petit-déjeuner...

Es gab beim Frühstück alles, was man brauchte! Und auch sehr reichlich! Die Gastgeberin war sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Die Pension liegt fussläufig zur Innenstadt. Sehr sauber! Gerne wieder! Ruhige Gegend!

Ab und an Parkplatzprobleme in der Nähe, lässt sich aber immer irgendwie lösen. Ansonsten gab es nichts zu beanstanden!

Séjour de rêves à réitérer.

1.l’accueil chaleureux de la maîtresse du gîte. 2 .grande chambre spacieuse 3 .superbe salle de bain toute équipée. 4. Petit déjeuner copieux sous forme de buffet à volonté servi dans une grande véranda lumineuse avec une agréable vue sur le jardin. 5. Parking gratuit à 100 M. 6. Distributeur de boissons fraiches à des prix démocratiques, + un coin thé et café gratuits. 7. Magasins, restaurants à proximité.

Un tout petit bémol, si on veut garder la gratuité du parking, il faut laisser son véhicule sur place et marcher une vingtaine de minutes pour rejoindre la digue et la plage. Mais cela n’est pas un problème pour nous.

Tout était parfait: accueil, logement; maitresse de maison, petit-déjeuner. Emplacement proche du centre et de l'église ND des Dunes (à voir !) Petit-déjeuner avec des pains et pistolets faits maison, idem les confitures: super.
