Historical 2-family house, built in 1560. In the centre of Schwalenberg, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, in the heart of the city, traffic calmed area, 100 m from the stream. For shared use: natural garden 500 m2, meadow 500 m2, orchard 500 m2, courtyard. Barbecue, public parking on the road. Shop, grocery 4 km, supermarket 5 km, restaurant 200 m, bakery 400 m, café 4 km, bus stop "Steinheimer Strasse" 200 m, railway station "Steinheim" 6 km, outdoor swimming pool 6 km. Walking paths from the house 100 m, children's playground 300 m. Nearby attractions: Externsteine 26 km, Hermannsdenkmal 27 km, Welterbe Corvey 28 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Schiedersee 6 km. Please note: car not advisable. Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. The owner lives in the same residence. Natural garden with grapevines. The owner has his own vineyard and runs a wine trade. In the yard in front of the house there is a paved forecourt (100 m2) with a small public restaurant for tasting wines from mainly German countries. Wine tastings, hikes and singing together can be booked on request and for a fee, as well as an in-house laundry service (washing / drying / ironing).

Please note: non-smokers only. Smoke alarm, fire extinguisher. The bookable additional room (16 m2, extra) for 2 people is on the same floor and has 1 double bed (150 cm, length 200 cm), satellite TV (flat screen) and a seat as well as a bathroom / toilet (5 m2). A baby and / or toddler as an additional person is not allowed.

Gastgeber sind freundliche Menschen. Die Wohnung ist praktisch und sehr sauber. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts, sogar Frühstück für den nächsten Morgen stand im Kühlschrank.
Einziges Problem war die Heizung im Wohnzimmer, die leider bei Wärmezufuhr ständig unangenehme Geräusche von sich gab.

Über die Wohnung/Einrichtung ist schon einiges geschrieben worden. Ich kann mich da nur anschließen. Alles mehr als ausreichend vorhanden, inkl. Lesestoff für ein ganzes Jahr :-) Wir trafen etwas später ein, hatten dies vorher telefonisch abgestimmt. Der Empfang ging weit über freundlich hinaus - man kann es durchaus als freundschaftlich bezeichnen. Mit den Vermietern, die im gleichen Haus wohnen, wird man innerhalb von Minuten warm und an fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Ich komm wieder!
