Good location wth short walk to the lakeside and amenities.

1. Communications from host management was awful, with no information on getting keys. Despite twelve emails, WhatsApp messages and links sent, that didn't work, no information was received until we after we had arrived in Italy. We had to leave home without knowing whether we would be able to access the property. 2. On arrival we found the cupboard, under the sink, flooded from a leak in the pipe joints. I had to tighten these myself. 3. Damp patches in kichen area and bedroom with paint coming off the walls. 4. Power cut during middle of stay, for no apparent reason. Trip switches in the appartment were okay. With the help of other residents, we found the main controls in the basement garage, but labels bore no resemblence to the number of our appartment. We eventually found the tripped switch by trial and error.

Great Apartment but Shocking Hidden Charges

Great location allowing easy access to the lake, Sirmione and day trips to Venice, Milan, Verona etc. Great pool (sun until 7pm in late August but busy and can be noisy at times from trucks at neighbouring supermarket). East facing balcony gets sun in morning. Plenty near by free parking. Sofa bed was fine. Supermarket next door is handy.

A rather unexpected demand for €40 when collecting the keys for a "covid clean" ruined this for me. No idea what Snale Apartments pay their staff, but for €40 extra I was expecting it to be absolutely sparkling clean after hours of special cleaning !

Pleasant appartment with very good facilities close to the lake

Nice facilities in the appartment (airco, laundry machine, dishwashing machine, etc., good size balcony, good location close to the lake, next to a large supermarket and with some restaurants around. Service of hosts was also very good.

Bed is a bit small and makes noise, cleaning can also be better. We found dust on several places and a piece of salad in the salad bowl. That's not what you expect when you pay €140 on cleaning and sanitation.
