This Outer Banks vacation townhome "Sea Dunes D1" is located at mile post 4 1/4. The Sea Dunes is just across from 475 ft. of unobstructed, pristine beach that is life guarded. This complex provides their guests with use of the Community Pool (open mid May to mid September) along with use of the racquetball court, tennis/pickleball court, whirlpool, universal weight equipment and the clubhouse with WIFI and there is also WIFI in the unit.
Ground Level: Master Bedroom/Den with a Bunk Set, large private bathroom, sitting area with flat-screen TV and a New Queen Sleep Sofa. This is a great place for the kids to hang out. New, laundry room with utility sink, washer/dryer and refrigerator. The hallway stair case leads to the mid level.
Mid Level: Offers a Queen Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV, covered porch access and a private bathroom. Bedroom with a custom built-in bed with Queen, 2 Bunk Singles overhead, flat-screen TV and full hallway bathroom.
Top Level: Great room with brand new furnishings, 50" flat-screen TV/DVD and deck access, half bathroom, dining room seating 6-7 and kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless appliances and breakfast bar seating 3. Pros: great location, short walk to the beach and pool, nice spacious rooms with many beds, great rec center with raquetball, tennis court, workout room and video games and pool. We had a great time.
Cons (mostly minor): Kitchen was well stocked but no kitchen towels or hotpads to take out hot things from the oven. Main TV upstairs had bad connectivity to Wifi (others were fine). One bed that was freshly made (?) had sand on the sheets. I would blame housekeeping and not the owners.

This townhouse was beautiful. It was recently redone amd everything looked new. There was way more space than we thought especially in the downstairs bedroom. The location was great - a 3 minute walk to the beach, even with a 2 and 7 year old.
Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
