    I love how the beds have private curtains. There's no backup generator I guess and the Island has many short brownouts so not best for WFH. The WIFI is strong for personal use though. This is not the best option for social guests as there's nothing much to do here. Minor issue is the need to fix door locks in many toilet/shower doors although it still has one of the cleanest and best toilet/shower rooms among the hostels I've been to with take note, hot shower. Unlimited tissue and hand soap provided so you just need your body soap, shampoo & toothpaste. Secure your expensive sunscreen lotion though as there's no camera in the sink area. 🤣😂 It's best for travelers who just need affordable good night sleep and basic but decent living. The only bad thing about here for me is the absence of cafe or food options in the property specially for late night cravings although that shouldn't be a problem at daytime as it's only 2 mins walk to restaurants and bars. I suggest you have free hot water and mugs so guests can have instant coffee even late at night. Coffee is life. Appreciate the free drinking water though. Not good for people scared of dogs like me as there are stray dogs going here but it was fine with me as I was renting a scooter at 350 a day arranged by one of the kind staff, kuya Joel. You can also do simple laundry here. I understand this is a mixed type of dormitory but I suggest that if there are many vacant beds, kindly separate male guests from trans and girls unless they're traveling as a group. Also, only offer upper bunk beds if all other lower beds have been taken or best if you ask the guest their preferred bunk bed as you show them around. That's a small but meaningful gesture in the hospitality business. Kuya Joel also arranged my van to the airport and I thank him for that. I also loved how you allowed me to check in early. Other than all mentioned, this is one of the best deals in GL for solo travelers. I'll surely be back.

    The place is nice and good for it price. But the receptionist has attitude and looks always judging people.
