Everything you need to stay close to Volcano NP and be halfway between Kona And Hilo
Everything was clean, labeled (drawers and light switches), with good kitchen cooking and laundry supplies, tight screens (no room for bugs), good directions, fast hot water, and quiet neighborhood. Perfect for families and adults with adult kids like us! We were lucky to arrive when Kilauea began erupting again and our host informed us by text good places to watch the show and dine. Couldn’t be happier with the place and the host!
We couldn’t stay longer in this lovely family home (especially after spending more $ later on a Condo in Kona with ‘falling apart’ issues)

Superb
The property was beautiful and had everything you needed. Some slight problems with heating as you are 3000 feet up it gets cool there, but the caretaker bent over backwards to help us out with what we needed. Yard is fenced so the kids could play.
The heating thing was an issue as we got there later at night so it couldn’t be resolved until the following day. (Stove companies in Hawaii are rare and rather booked up.) Also the house has a bit of a musty smell, likely due to elevation and moisture. The dehumidifiers do the trick.
