FERN apartments

This is a lovely, comfortable and clean apartment in the center of Maribor. Ana and Rajko are great hosts, communicate clearly and quickly and we appreciated some flexibility in check in. We would highly recommend Fern Apartments if you are staying in Maribor.

We liked the roominess of the apartment and the common inner terrace area. We also liked being able to get streamed TV channels (e.g. Eurosport, etc). The kitchen was very well appointed.

There was a constant hum from some equipment/machinery in the inner courtyard. We suggest providing some dishwasher powder/tablets as these are only available in large packs from the supermarket, so not worth buying for a short-term stay. Despite having provided an ETA there was no-one to meet us at the apartment on arrival.

Everything as advertised, very cosy, spacious and well equipped place in the hart of the city. Hosts are very polite, well informed and ready to assists for any inquiry.

No actual disadvantages or problems. Everything was great. Useful information for visitors in this direction is that you need to take care of parking because the apartment is in pedestrian zone. Hosts provided info on this too, so we did not have problems.

Fantastic location! Right in the walkable city center with a choice of cafes, restaurants, or bars within a 5 minute walk. The rail station was an easy 15 minute walk away (and I say this as a late 50s out of shape person) which opened up so many other opportunities to visit this wonderful country. A short walk to the Farmer's market for meal prep and gelato around the corner for dessert. The apartment was clean and very well apportioned- sitting down for lunch with the windows open to listen to the street musicians play below made for a wonderful memory as did sitting on the shared patio space in the evening with a bottle of wine.
