L’emplacement est idéal en bordure du Canal du midi. Un accueil chaleureux et à notre écoute . Le petit déjeuner était délicieux avec le super gâteau banane chocolat.

I chose the property as it was a convenient distance along our return journey from France to Spain. I hadn't given any thought to the actual village it was in, just that it had the rooms we needed, free parking and breakfast. It was therefore a huge surprise to find ourselves in the most beautiful village, with a river, quaint old houses and some really unusual features. The property itself was beautiful and our host was extremely friendly and informative. She gave us suggestions of where to visit in the village and spoke perfect English too. We had the property to ourselves for the night which was a bonus so we could be more relaxed and spread out a bit. There was a small kitchen with a fridge in the communal area which was very useful for us. The whole property was meticulously clean, very neat, tidy and quaint. Some people might not like the curtains for bathroom doors but it didn't bother us. There is also a pretty courtyard to sit in too. The breakfast was lovely. Yogurts and blueberries, bread and jams, banana bread, tea, coffee and orange juice. If you are travelling with kids this might not be the breakfast for them but we were travelling with a few of our own supplies so our kids ate our own cereal. We really loved our stay in the property. Please note: parking is free on the street and we found a space close-by very easily. The village itself has a few restaurants to choose from within a very short walk. Our host had suggested we visit the library so we took her advice and for a family that loves books we were in heaven. This is not a library but a huge second hand book shop, the majority are, of course, French books but just go along and take a look to see how many books are there . The building looks nothing from outside but when you get inside it is huge and something you could see in a film. Really worth a visit. The village shop is also in a boat moored up in the village so we bought bread and sandwich supplies in the morning.

The house is beautiful and Isabelle the host/owner is lovely. Beautifully decorated home and a good breakfast. Parking a car is easy around the location and the garage was a a safe place for our bikes.

The rooms have no airco and there was only a small van in the room. In a warm month of August that is not the most pleasant. However in many other months this will not be a problem.
