About this cottage rental

*We would like to share our cottage with other families and intimate groups of friends that come with the intention to disconnect from the Busyness of life/Social Media and reconnect with what really matters: Human connection, Peace, Nature & YOU. That being said we want to protect the energy of the space, ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES.*
* Please note that we require guests to review and complete liability forms/waiver. They will be sent prior to your stay via Docusign and will also contain the cottage manual.
*In winter conditions, particularly when there is snow, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND ARRIVING IN A VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH AWD.
Enjoy the beauty of nature at our 5+1 BR 4 season cottage on the Muskoka River. Peaceful, still, CLEAN waters between 2 dams, Private 3.5 acres makes this the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The cottage is spacious with over 2400 sq ft nestled on 3.5 acres with the closest neighbour 200+ft away and 10 acres vacant on the other side, it is quiet! All conveniences of a modern home: Central AC, Wifi, Fully Stocked Kitchen, 2 Fridges, Wood Fireplace, Garbage collection onsite & potable water from the taps.
Stargaze from our Hot tub or Detox in our 8ppl Wood-burning Barrel Sauna.
2 living spaces: Upper level open concept living/dining room & Lower level with Wood Fireplace. Cozy up with a book in the screened porch. The Master bedroom has a 4pc en-suite, baby crib & walkout to the screened porch. From the Master there is a small bedroom with 2 bunks which connects to the 2nd bedroom with another 2 bunks. Perfect setup for kids that want to sleep close to each other while parents can monitor. 3 bedrooms on the lower level, a Murphy bed and walkout to the hot tub and river. 3 Bathrooms: 3pc with shower on the lower level, 4pc ensuite Master bedroom & 3pc with shower on main floor.
There are lots of family/child-focused activities to do: Sandy play area with a mountain of sand, Lego, arcade, board games, books, arts & crafts, hide & seek, Kids slack line, trails, tobogganing, swimming, bicycles, water toys & water slide. All sort of animals to spot: frogs, turtles, humming birds, blue jays, woodpeckers, even some brave minnows that will give a pedicure.
Yoga with top instructors on GAIA tv app. Jog or bike the river via Matthiasville Rd with breathtaking views.
Sip your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the birds. Walk down to the river where you can enjoy the stillness of the water or go for a swim in the super clean river water. Fish off the dock or travel up the river where larger fish await. You can explore 8km of the river by kayaks, paddle boards or paddle boat. Cap your evening off by roasting marshmallows on the fire pit.

Variety of life jackets for everyone, Float pad, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 1 kids kayak, paddleboat, slide off the dock, Bicycles to explore the river, kids activity slack line, toboggans & magic carpets. Big pile of sand!

Great location close to golf courses. Lovely property with lots of amenities including sauna, hot tub, screened in porch, waterfront with access to kayaks etc. Great main floor space with open concept kitchen, dining and living room. Host was available and very helpful.

This beautiful cottage was perfect for 9 sisters gathering. The hot tub and sauna were perfect.The kitchen was very well equipped for all our needs. We enjoyed the fire pit down by the river. We are seriously considering in coming back next year at this time. The location was perfect and very eady to access. Although we had no need to contact our host throughout our stay, they were very quick to respond to our questions prior to our stay.

Beautiful cottage which sits on a peaceful calm river. We enjoyed all the water activities each day - kayak, canoe, slide and paddle board.
Managed to catch at least 30 fish right off the dock.
The hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings to gaze at the stars.
House was equipped with everything we needed compared to other rentals we have stayed at in the past.
Great vacation!
