Eskside Cottage

A great village location close to the moors and coast. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, well equipped with good amenities close by and it felt like home from home after a day out exploring. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Nothing really springs to mind as everything we experienced was good.

Location was good as could park nearby across the road. Spacious rooms and lovely quality interior. Bedding and household items all very good. Hosts responsive when we needed to contact them. Off main road but easy to walk to village shops.

Lovely cottage. Had everything we needed. Clean and well equipped.

The beds

The fan on continuously in the bathroom, very cold at night and annoying, can hear all night in rear bedroom Need to inform us of the drop from the front bedroom onto the landing , provided stair gate but dangerous for children and elderly if needed the loo in the night , know it’s an old property but just inform us Boiler in front bedroom coming on and off all night Blinds need cleaning ,big cow-webs in back door and lounge door Need slabs on gate entrance over garden to collect key from key box , really muddy when it had been raining Doors didn’t close to bathroom or bedroom Don’t put real wood worktops in holiday rental , don’t need to worry about water on worktops when on holiday
