Wilby Central Serviced Apartments

The perfect place to stay if you are in Singapore for more than a couple of days (we were there 6 nights). The studios are so well and thoughtfully designed - plenty of cupboard space including for luggage so everything can be put away easily. They have really maximised usable space so it feels spacious and comfortable. Washing machine and the Japanese drying system in the bathroom made it easy and cost effective for laundry to get done and the kitchen was well equipped with what you need to cook simple meals although we did not use that this time. Staff were always cheerful and available - there is 24 hour concierge and super helpful. There is housekeeping 3 times a week and our housekeeper was so thoughtful to leave us hangers for our laundry when she saw that we had borrowed a drying rack from the concierge so that we could hang our laundry in the bathroom with the dryer system. Level 5 has the guest lounge with coffee machines (available 24 x 7) and where they serve breakfast weekdays. Also a small but well equipped gym and an outdoor seating area. Fantastic location - very central, close to MRT, buses and food courts, cafes and restaurants and shopping centres with good supermarkets.

Breakfast is limited only on non-public holiday weekdays and finishes at 8.45 am and using only disposable plates and cutlery. We didn't bother after the first morning and had our own in our room after getting a coffee from level 5. Not really an issue when you have a full kitchen and easy access to supermarkets.

A very quiet place to rest after a long journey. Staff was exceptionally good helped us with our luggage. Healthy breakfast was a bonus. All the utilities and facilities are available for a traveller to stay comfortably. Very clean well maintained place , rooms were cleaned several days during the week. Sort walk to MRT or Bus terminal is very convenient for traveller. Well ventilated rooms, a great place to stay away from busy traffic and noice

Our booking included breakfast for 6 days but breakfast was only provided 1 day. It was a serviced apartment, yet only serviced once and we had to chase them to do it. The price on booking .com was $100 cheaper than what was charged. The bed though large was old and mattress hard. The pillows also were hard.
