We only stayed one night here, but the place is just what we needed. We didn't have a car—we traveled by bus—and it is perfect because it's really near the bus stations and also walking distance to Dacha Beach, where we stayed for most of the day.
The host, Olivier, lives right next door and he was super helpful with everything; he got us in and was really friendly and kind. We also enjoyed the big porch with nice chairs, enjoying morning coffee and the bird songs.
The facilities and amenities are old, but it is quite straightforward obvious from the pictures, however everything works well and nothing is broken.

De locatie. Dichtbij het strand en prima uitvalsbasis voor verkenning Guadeloupe, zowel Grande als Basse Terre. Olivier is aardige gastheer, en reageert snel op vragen en/of berichten. Ontvangst met een fles rumpunch. Leuk tuintje waar de kolibrie diverse keren langs kwam bij de bloemen. Airco in de slaapkamer.
Knop kraan in keuken viel er steeds af, douche ophang haak viel uit de muur dus douche kan niet worden opgehangen. Vrij eenvoudige accommodatie en heeft wel wat onderhoud nodig. Als je niet te veel eisen stelt aan luxe dan is dit een prima uitvalsbasis.
