Edward met us when we arrived and gave us a good explanation of the surrounding area, best restaurants to eat it, and places to visit. We appreciated this and the homely feeling at PuraVida. Cosy place to stay in for a short break, and we intend to visit again soon!

The host is extremely welcome. Offers you a tour and based on the reason of your visit gives great tips. The room feels homey and luxurious at the same time. All the facilities are there plus extra cutlery, games etc.

Quiet village house with a fantastic host

Edward was the most caring and energetic host imaginable. He keeps his place tip top tidy and seems to have put thought to every detail in the room. Kitchen utensils and a fridge were provided, bed was comfy and we felt safe leaving our bicycles in the garden. He gave us a sweeping introduction to the village and the history of the region and we felt like there would have been a lot more to learn had we had time for more than just a day.

As it's a private home sound isolation isn't up to a hotel standard, but that shouldn't be a deal breaker for anyone willing to spend some days at this property.

A place to return to!

Westkapelle is a lovely spot to spend a vacation close to the ocean. Our room in Pura Vida was under the roof overlooking the the roofs of the village. A most cozy room, nicely furbished, very quiet, a bit like a nest in the clouds. Edward is the perfect host. Super friendly, very open and a great host.

The best travel we had post corona

- Best Location - Super quiet at night - Morning walks and conversations with Edward were fantastic - the breakfast was even better - Really clean rooms - It felt as good as sleeping at home and I usually I have a light sleep - Good Showers - Good Value for money - Fast and good communcation regarding trips, bike rental and restaurants near by

Good location close to the see. We stayed in the top floor apartment, very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. Edward and Vilma gave us a warm welcome and detailed information on what we could do in the area and where the best restaurants where. Very much enjoyed the tour around Westkapelle with Edward. He's a great narrator and we learned a lot about the history of the area. Thanks so much!

Edward is an easy going and very kind host, friendly dog, comfortable spacious room, netflix available, super easy parking, walking distance to amazing beach area. I'll always have a nice memory of having spent my bday at Pura Vida! Hopefully we will go back one day!

With all the covid restrictions it was really hard to find food: everything was close or closing up very early! Hopefully the situation will be better in summer... . In any case, to be on the safe side, ask Edward for advice in advance!

Great homely stay with the best host

Great host, best welcome I ever received, with a super nice dog as an added bonus. Very nice location to go for walks or sightseeing, Zeeland is a very nice relaxing province (outside the holiday season at least ;) )

Seperate bathroom isn't perfect, but no choice given the authentic setup of the house. So not really a minus to be honest.

Für mich war dies ein rundum toller erster Alleinreisendenurlaub mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor!

Schon der freundliche Empfang mit zahlreichen Tipps für den Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gefallen. Das sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Appartement mit vielen liebevoll selbstgestalteten Details hat mir jeden Tag nach vielen Wanderungen in dieser tollen Umgebung das Gefühl von "Heimkommen" gegeben. Die strandnahe Lage und die zahlreichen Parkmöglichkeiten sind super! Ich habe hier eine wunderschöne Zeit mit vielen tollen Eindrücken erlebt und bin froh, zufällig ausgerechnet auf diese Unterkunft gestoßen zu sein.

Erneut ein rundum gelungener Kurzurlaub in Westkapelle

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal bei Edward zu Gast und kennen nun beide seiner Apartments. Sowohl beim ersten als auch nun beim zweiten Mal haben wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Check-in mittels Schlüsselbox hat wunderbar funktioniert und der Kontakt zu Edward’s Mitarbeiterin war sehr zügig und überaus freundlich. Edward durften wir beim ersten Mal persönlich kennenlernen und seine Gastfreundschaft erfahren. Bei Fragen ist er stets erreichbar und antwortet innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und man hat, ausgenommen einer Küche, alles was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank und eine Spülmöglichkeit mit dazugehörigen Utensilien ist vorhanden. Die Lage ist fußläufig keine 5 Minuten zum Strand entfernt und absolut top gelegen in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Parkmöglichkeiten sind immer zu finden gewesen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt sowie mehrere Restaurants und Imbisse befinden sich in fußläufiger Nähe. Ein großes Dankeschön noch einmal von unserer Seite und bis zum nächsten Jahr 😊

perfekt für einen Kurztrip in Zeeland 👌🏻

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben vorab schon einige hilfreiche Informationen erhalten. Optimale Lage zu Zentrum und Strand - besser geht nicht 👌🏻 Das Zimmer lag im ersten Stock und war über eine sehr steile Treppe mit sehr schmalen Stufen erreichbar und ist daher mit Gehbehinderung nur schlecht zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr durchdacht und sehr sauber, so daß wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Allerdings ist es dort sehr hellhörig. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt von 3 Übernachtungen im Pur Vida - vielen Dank Edward 😃🙋🏼‍♀️
