At the foot of the Roquefixade castle, the accommodation is located in an old 17th century fortified house, an independent part of which is converted into comfortable accommodation.
It can accommodate 6 people.
Very nice view from the living room and the bedrooms on the Ariège Pyrenees, on the castle of Montségur to the south and on the rocky bar of the castle of Roquefixade to the west.

The property was absolutely pristine. Beautiful views, fabulous location. Owners very helpful. Location was just amazing walks right on the doorstep.
The only thing I would have liked would be comfy seating for relaxation in the evenings. Other than that everything was just right.

The photos dont do justice to what a beautiful village Roquefixade is - absolutely. gorgeous setting up in the mountains with stunning view. Luce and Georges were fantastic hosts. The property was spotless, and kitted out with everything you could need. There is lovely private garden - sitting out there in the morning with a coffee and croissant you can bathe in the bird song and great views. Its a very peaceful setting, but with loads to do in the local area. We visited prehistoric caves, medieval castles, lovely lakes with beaches for swimming and did some great hikes in the Pyrenees that are easy with pre-teen kids. The nearest town with amenities is only a 10 min drive. Absolutely loved it and hope to return! Merci!
