We stayed at this cottage for two months with 2 adults, 1 child, and 2 cats and we were very comfortable. John was an excellent host and checked in on us often to see if we needed anything. After relocating to Ireland, Heron’s Lodge was able offer my family a clean, spacious place to stay while we looked for long term housing. Close to Longford, Roscommon, and Carrick-on-Shannon, this cottage was conveniently located to larger towns but was able to give us the Irish country charm we were wanting. We had a wonderful stay and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I can not review this property fairly. I can review the Host which were awesome. There was an issue with the original property. Jody and John were able to make alternative accommodations for us. We were very pleased. It was in the same location, which you definitely need a vehicle for. We were able to visit many areas from here with ease. Communication was excellent, would rent again.
