Die Lage war perfekt um verschiedene Ausflüge zu starten. Wir waren wandern, Fahrrad fahren und haben eine Schiffsfahrt bis nach Rüdesheim gemacht. Die Wohnung hatte einen super schönen Ausblick auf den Rhein, man konnte fußläufig in 20 min den Hang hinab und war am Bahnhof, Schiffsanleger oder bei REWE.
Es war eigentlich alles perfekt, nur die öffentlichen Transportmittel wie Zug und Schiff hatten Verspätung bzw. einen Maschinenschaden, und sorgten so für Probleme. Aber dagegen kann man ja nichts machen, außer demnächst die Touren vielleicht doch besser mit dem Auto zu planen.

Die Unterkunft bietet einen sensationellen Ausblick über den Rhein. Die Wohnung ist modern und sehr wertig ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin war sehr gut erreichbar, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
Die tolle Lage hat die Kehrseite, dass man im Grunde für alle Wege ein Auto benötigt. Restaurants, die in dem Ort ohnehin sehr überschaubar sind, und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß über einen sehr steilen und teils unwegsamen Wanderweg erreichbar, für den man in guter Form sein sollte. Auch die Freilichtbühne auf dem Loreley-Plateau erreicht man nicht zu Fuß (was wir bei einer Entfernung von rd. 3km gehofft hatten).

Location is unreachable for public transport users you have to hike/climb up the mountain for around 30 min each time, shower is too small, bed is too soft, no air conditioner, no welcome goodies, no taxi services, no basic groceries available close by
